There Is No Violent Hate-Crimewave in 'Trump's America'
Reason ^ | 11 Nov 2016 | Elizabeth Nolan Brown

Let's get this out of the way: there's no doubt that Donald Trump's policies may pose a direct threat to certain classes of American people. But in the wake of his Tuesday night election as president of the United States, there has been a wave of people worrying for the physical safety of Mexicans, Muslims, and anyone else who isn't white, male, and gender-conforming. The fear seems to legitimately be that there are would-be perpetrators of sexual assault and race-based violence that have been well-behaved so far but will now, emboldened by a President-elect Trump, suddenly go wild with the raping and the hate crimes.

Implausible? I think so. But the narrative has been bolstered by a few high-profile incidents of alleged aggression in Trump's America.

The first one to really go viral involved a Muslim female student at the University of Louisiana who claimed to have had her hijab ripped off and her wallet stolen the day after Trump's election by two white men wearing Trump hats. But on Thursday, local police announced that the young woman had admitted she fabricated the story. "This incident is no longer under investigation," the Lafayette Police Department said in a press release.

In another incident, this one in San Diego, a young Muslim woman's purse and car were stolen by one white male and one Hispanic male. While the men allegedly made negative comments about Muslims, it seems car stealing was more their motivation than harassment or intimidation—which is obviously shitty, but not necessarily a Trump-inspired act of bigotry.

Excuse the first graf, this is a Trump-skeptic magazine. However, in this case, they are defending the truth.

More lying for justice.

Yes there is. Its being committed by the Left. There is plenty of evidence that the Left has gone absolutely wild and is attacking people who they think supported Trump. And anti-white prejudice by some blacks (not all) is on full display.

Quite the reverse is true. There is a growing flood of violence being done in the name of opposing violence by Trumpites. Plainly his victory has provided license for violence prone criminals to exercise their right to petition.

The Gospel According To Wright (Rev. Jeremiah Wright, Barack Obama’s Pastor)
https://spectator.org/36529_gospel-according-wright/

The New York Times ludicrously editorialized in 2008 that Obama’s "religious connection" with Wright "should be none of the voters' business."

In fact, Obama often invokes religion in areas–health care and economics–where it isn't normally mentioned. An analysis by Politico found that Obama invoked Jesus far more than George W. Bush did, and cited the Sermon on the Mount to make the case for his economic policies.

"White folks' greed runs the world in need." For all Obama's talk, he can't claim to never have heard Wright say it. Obama titled his second book, The Audacity of Hope, after the very sermon where that line appears.

Candidate Obama’s declared intention to "spread the wealth around" echoed what he had absorbed at those Trinity sermons. Now President Obama's thinking clearly shows the same imprint, as when he preaches that "at a certain point you’ve made enough money."

You know if Trump listened to a Pastor parallel to the doctrine of Rev. Wright for years, the media wouldn’t give it a free pass.

We don't need another civil war.

All that's needed is for a few pockets of these communist rabble rousing traitors to kick things off and let the overwhelmingly fed up citizenry squash them like the insects they are.

The bloody reality of a half dozen such skirmishes would quickly spread via the 'social media' that the snowflakes are so fond of.

All that 'revolutionary zeal' they think they possess would vanish like rain on the desert.

Evidence, please, especially for that flood part.

Not that it would necessarily be a bad thing, but there's a helluva hushup campaign going on if it's true.

American cities are sewers filled with human crap

Unless and until the crap is flushed through the macerators and clarifiers there will be fools ready to take money and hit the streets with rocks and fire.

Point of order: In Minneapolis the riot buyers got gypped. The bought rioters lined up meekly behind two cars and walked doen the street carefully staying in their lane

Its the Libertarian equivalent to “American Thinker” or “National Review”, so you can’t really expect them to be too kind to either The GOP or the Dems. They are one of my usual spots on the web to get my news and editorial comments on the news, though.
