“I want to be that guy that drives back-and-forth in the “pilot truck”.”

Look out for those guys leaning on their shovels and those other guys on the worksite playing dice.

They'll be too busy serving their 2-5 year mandatory minimum prison sentence.

$500 billion, presumably over 4 yrs (maybe 8). $125B/yr ($75B/yr).

GDP is about $18T, so this is 0.6% of the US economy/yr.

The Obama 2009 stimulus (ARRA, not TARP) spent $249B in just 2009. More later. TARP was being spent then to just keep the banks afloat, buying their mortgage backed securities.

Overall, if it’s $75B/yr that’s really not much and should have no impact on the bond market.

I heard that Canada’s immigration information site crashed from so many US inquiries since the election.

Paul Ryan is now on the Trump Train after trying to derail it when Trump could have used him most. Replace him with someone who was loyal the whole time.

Is the wall considered infrastructure? It will create jobs.

Can't see why not - of course they'll have to put up a few exchanges to let the workers convert their pay from Pesos to Dollars....

Yes, the highway system is in need of repair. But I hope Trump DOES NOT resort to Transurban-type privatized toll roads, like around Washingtoon DC. This uses govt’s eminent domain power for private gain. Highways are a public good. The highway system should be FREEWAYs, but even if they are TOLLWAYS with E-Z pass type systems, they need to be public owned not private owned. Once these private systems are installed, eventually they will lead to politicians allowing the parallel public highways to deteriorate — forcing people to the expensive private roads. This is all part of the NWO agenda strategy of fleecing the sheeple with a death of a thousand cuts. It is similar to the Climate change carbon tax where, although it taxes “carbon” they have finally figured out a way to implement the age-old objective of “taxing the air we breathe.”

Two of the early objectives of a Trump administration, by their own statements, are a term limit amendment and infrastructure spending. McConnell has already said that neither are of interest to the Senate.

TRUMP is so alpha male that I can expect up to a Constitutional convention ordered to address these log jams and override the status quo.
MAGA!

Build the wall! That is a shovel-ready project. Round up illegal aliens—$500 per person—another shovel-ready project; round them up and shove them over the border.

That takes 35 or 36 states. Trump can't order it.

President-elect Trump's job-creation promise is similar to President Obama's 2009 stimulus package

If this were actually spent on infrastructure, then it would not be similar in the least. Very little of the Obama "stimulus" was spent on infrastructure projects. If it had been it might have actually be somewhat beneficial instead of being a drag on the economy.

Interesting to note that in the settlement that I live on here in the holy land is that ironically enough it’s the palestinians themselves who build most of them. Virtually all of the construction work is done by arabs.

They benefit the most from the “occupation”
