We’re all gonna miss the campaign excitement I think. It’s been fun conversing, laughing, and cursing with my FR brothers and sisters.
But in another way, the campaign was too much with me. Now that our man is going to the Oval Office, I feel relaxed and today I got a lot of productive work done.
This is one happy day for us.
LOL If I had ventured out and about today, it would have been noticed...the sunshine and smiles on the faces of Americans. After awakening this AM and checking out the headlines after from last night, about 1 pm went back to bed and crashed, exhausted. Slept like a baby with a clear conscience and didn’t wake until 8 pm tonight. Now my time is really off kilter!
The morning routine for the past 9 years will need to be adjusted, drastically. Each morning, it was felt the intense need to log on and read as to how BO’B had managed to slay our countrymen in the night hours. Or how he had managed to steal another freedom, 5 million bucks, or what he might have used to poke us in the eye one more time. We’ve lived through years of Carter and BO’B. Neither era was enjoyable. It is difficult to accept the fact that another Ronald Reagan has appeared to take us back to our America. Still pinching myself :-)
