I suspect GB was nothing but a con job all along. Just a horse of a slightly-different color. Whereas Jeb was the designated loser, Beck tried to still pretend he was “conservative” and put up someone who absolutely would have lost to Hillary. Big time.
When that gambit failed, watching his empire crumble, he seeks to try to suck up to the kookiness of liberalism. Which now makes him even more aimless. I suspect he’ll become an apologist for domestic terrorist groups like BLM.

Actually, I think that he got tired of being unliked and being a target of the Left and "just wants to be liked." Instead, now he's becoming a target of the Right, and that's a problem for him since that's where he's built his "empire." Someone mentioned David Brock .. I think that's spot on as to what he's becoming.
