Frankly, the Trump family didn’t need all of this mess. The patriarch decided to sacrifice his time and some of his fortune for a job that pays a pittance of what he normally earns.
If for whatever reason this doesn’t happen, none of them need to feel bad or obligated to continue.
Our professional political class is a disaster. The Trump family doesn’t need them.

I had a similar impression of Don Jr in the primaries when he spoke to a group in Iowa (IIRC).
He does talk a bit fast, but he is very articulate.
Donald Trumps mother was born in Scotland.
And was naturalized as a citizen 4 years before he was born.
Born here of citizen parents.

On Fox, someone predicted he was headed for politics.
That doesn't stop him from running for the House or Senate, or New York state political office.
I see your point, and I am going to take back what I said before. You are a natural born citizen if you are born in US soil, even if both parents are foreigners, even if they are illegal. If you choose to give up US citizenship, then you lose the “natural born” status because you need to be naturalized to re-gain US citizenship.
Not at all and I would love to see him as Senator from New York, but they seem to prefer dolts like Shumer.
He probably loves running Trump Inc. and has no interest in politics.
His father only ran because he saw that the Uniparty was running the country into the ground and the GOP was setting up another Designated Loser in Yeb!
There is an interview from back in the 1980’s where Trump was asked if he would run for office and he demurred, saying he loved what he was doing and that was not his desire.
He did this for us, for which I will be eternally grateful.
The GOP was determined to nominate another amnesty candidate like they have in every election since the last amnesty. They have been effectively blocking us from stopping the illegal alien inundation.
I wish he was the one on the ballot.

That’s just insane. The founders wanted no foreign influences on the Presidency. Allegiance to only the US.
Children of illegal aliens are NOT natural born citizens.
They did not mean that the King of Thailand could be President, even though he was born in Cambridge MA
