Since Virginia is already a R-T-W state why did we have to vote on it again? I smell a Democratic rat.

A similar amendment to put RTW in the state constitution is on the ballot here in AL.

If passed, the initiative will revise the Constitution of the Commonwealth of Virginia - adding R-T-W language to that document.

Virginia has heretofore had a strong R-T-W Law, but legislation is subject to change at the whim of the General Assembly and the Governor. Recognizing the right to work as a constitutional right makes it much harder to convert Virginia in to a union-controlled hell-hole.

I voted yes for that but had questions about the second question on the ballot. It sounds good until you get to the part where the wives can be from out of state. Can anyone explain this better to me?

I read it 5 times, it’s a Right-To-Work Amendment for the Constitution.

Pretty sure the Democrat sample ballot (blue) said no. So that would be enough to go on, if nothing else. The opposite of what the Democrats want is the right vote, 99.9% of the time.

Please stop with your continued parroting rant. It’s election day, and people are posting their experiences at their polling place and issues relevant to their state. I have already asked you in another thread to stop.

You don't get to set policy, and neither do I.

Take it up with Jim Robinson. I'm simply relaying his request.

Jim didn’t appoint you to relay his request. It’s election day and people are of course concerned about the direction of this country enough without your appointing yourself the czar of vanities. Please find something more productive to do for your country.

OK, but you're referring to a court challenge; that's always the wild card to anything. I referred to legislative repeal.

And MY point is that if the Dems can’t nickle-and-dime it to death in the Legislature, they’ll kill it in court. Considering it wasn’t even an issue during the election, but the day after swearing in, the AG decided the Virginia Constitution was wrong. . .
