The Cubans are one of the most loyal Republican voters in America. If it was not for the Cubans Florida would be another California. Rubio is on the ballot so an upswing in Latino voters is not as bad as it sounds.

Thanks for that.

Looking good in Duval too (also slight DEM, but historically slight REP voting):

Record numbers early voted this year. We’ll see tonight if that blows up the models.

Historically, how have Pinellas & Duval counties voted?

Duval went to Romney by a small margin in 2012. Historically, Duval has voted for the Republican presidential candidates but it seems that the margin has been shrinking.

In early voting, DEMs turned in more ballots than REPs in Duval but not by much.

I don’t think it is a tautology. There is no duplication.

If the election was on the first Tuesday in November, the election this year would have been on November 1st. One week ago. But November 8th is the first Tuesday after the first Monday. Correct?

Exactly right. I'm not sure why they wanted Nov 1st off limits for voting, but it is.

Cuban’s don't really consider themselves Hispanic.

That is so true. They will talk about minorities, like they are not part of that group.

Are you guys familiar with Slate’s VoteCastr project for election day?

Here is a quote for Colorado:

“VoteCastr Early Vote Estimate: Colorado Looking Very, Very Tight”

More details:

“Based on the 1.53 million early votes VoteCastr has run through its model, Clinton leads Trump by 2.7 points, 46.3 percent to 43.6 percent. VoteCastr expects a total of 2.815 million total votes will be cast in the state by the end of the day, meaning the early votes we have so far represent 54.4 percent of the total expected vote. I want to be clear: VoteCastr isn’t predicting that Hillary Clinton will win Colorado, only that she currently has a higher projected share of known ballots cast than Donald Trump.”

REP can win Colorado if they win the Election Day ballots turned in today. Racing is looking close according to VoteCastr.

There are many Tuesdays after the first Monday in November.

While I do agree that by not specifying which Tuesday, the fair assumption would be that it is the Tuesday IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING that is being referenced.

However, when drafting legal definitions, the general rule is to illiminate the need for making assumptions.

Apparently, I also have time to kill. :-)

We need a strong leader who will stop the flood of illegal aliens across Obama’s open borders daily. Illegal aliens who bring crime, drugs and disease into our country, take jobs of legal citizens- as well as becoming welfare recipients- COSTING AMERICAN TAX PAYERS BILLIONS OF DOLLARS.

Muslim Jihadists are also Infiltrating the U.S From the Southern border with the help of smugglers.

That strong leader to put a stop to this is Donald Trump.
Hillary has vowed to continue Obama’s policy of open borders.(Google it.)
http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2016/08/06/clinton-renews-vow-to-fast-track-immigration-trump-camp-accuses-candidate-acting-like-king.html

We need a strong leader who will put a stop to the flood of unvetted ‘refugee’ Muslims into our country that was begun by Obama. These are not ‘refugees’but colonists and invaders who are here to, when they have the numbers, take possession by the sword- just as the Koran commands.

http://nowtheendbegins.com/pages/iran/muslims_plan_for_world_dominance.htm

We are in danger.
The U.S./ Mexico border MUST be closed.
The import of unvetted Muslims MUST be stopped.
Muslim extremists mass murdering Americans daily will become the new ‘normal’.
We are in danger of becoming another Germany/Europe.

The strong leader to put a stop to this is Donald Trump.

Hillary has vowed to increase the import of Muslim ‘refugees’ by 500%!
And she is for open borders!
A country is not a country without borders.

(Google it:
http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2016/06/15/politifact-says-trump-right-criticism-hillary-clintons-support-500-percent-increase-syrian-refugees/

Open borders mean Mexico and S America will reap the benefits of what Americans have worked so hard to accomplish- while having contributed nothing!!!

Donald Trump is the only one who can save America- make it great and respected again!

Hillary and the Democrats will use every dirty trick in the book, including massive voter fraud to hold on to the presidency.

Hillary Clinton is the most corrupt individual EVER to run for president of the United States.

Obama and the Democrats are desperately afraid of Donald getting in and undoing the damage he has done- including a gutted U.S.military,a national debt of over 20 TRILLION DOLLARS,giving terrorist supporter,Iran,20 BILLION DOLLARS- and worse.

We must fight to get Donald into the White House till the very end.

We MUST make this the biggest Republican voter turn out in history.

We must do everything in our power to combat the rampant voter fraud that helped put Obama in our White House, for it is surely coming.

This is the most important election of our lifetime!

“the Tuesday after the first Monday” would be more agreeable - by use of article, specific without being tautological.

:^)

VOTECASTR is projecting the following numbers for NEVADA based on early voting.

2016 Early Vote: 593,964 early votes

Clinton: 276,461 early votes

Trump: 269,255 early votes

They project Clinton only leading by 7,000 votes even though DEMs lead by 45,000 based on party registration of ballots returned in early voting. That means they think Trump got a lot of DEM crossover votes and won Indys.

Nevada is in play.
