Sounds like you make be low on memory, or FF is using too many of your CPU cycles . If you want, while you have a few web pages open, go to the Run command (hold Windows key down and tap the r key) and type msinfo32 and hit OK
Then look for and select and copy (ctrl+c) each line for
Processor )
Total Physical Memory
Available Physical Memory
Page File Space
It would also help to know what the load on the CPU is, but for that you need to hold down ctrl+alt, and delete.
