Trump protester at center of security scare says he held "A simple sign"

The man whose protest at a Donald Trump rally in Nevada led the Secret Service to rush the GOP nominee offstage said he went to the event "with a simple sign" to "voice my displeasure with the nominee that the party picked."

Austin Crites, who said he is a registered Republican, said in an interview today with ABC News' "Good Morning America" that he held up a sign proclaiming "Republicans Against Trump" at the rally in Reno on Saturday.

After he raised the sign, "of course there was the booing going on around me," Crites told "GMA." "Then a couple of guys started trying to violently rip the sign out of my hand, grabbing my arm, grabbing the sign ... then all of a sudden I just got tackled by several people at once ... eventually the police came, and I was thankful for that."

So many times on the internet we see (especially at election time) these smarmy whiners who say "well, I'm a Republican... or "I'm a veteran.." and...some liberal view. First off we know immediately because military veteran Republicans don't start of "establishing our creds." We want the idea to stand it's merit, not by "creds." These people are the lowest kind of liberal liars.

Reminds me of a guy posting in the newspaper way back in the 90s who used his last name. "I'm a Republican and I hate this or that conservative ideal...and I love this or that liberal ideal." Well, someone went downtown and looked up voter registration - only three people with his last name in town registered - all Democrats. He stopped posting under that name immediately but I used to bring up that story in newspaper comments every someone did that to laugh at it in case he was still posting under another name.

I'm sure we've all see these wacky pathological Democrats before.
