Trump and Pence have become a potent team in Indiana. All races looking our way except for that carpetbagger from Tennessee.
Oh yeah you mentioned to me that CD 9 race, I forgot.
I think our guy will win but I hate to see it that close.
In spite of a few bad races, things look promising. Trump’s surge is reminding me of Hubert Humphrey’s closing surge in 1968. Also, wikileaks is promising something big soon.
As I said before I think lib hero HHH maxed out his support and definitely would not have won given another week as the old canard alleges.
HHH is one of a few people (Bobby Kennedy, Adali GD Stevenson) that comes up from libs when you google “Best President we never had”.
GD hippy libs have never gotten over flower power.
The only RAT/RAT nominee I’d consider giving 3/5 status to is Truman.
The rest:
RATS
Globalists
Never Trumpers
Cruzbots
“Go to that building and take a nice, hot shower.”
DingleBerry Odumbo
BJ Bubba Willy KKKlintoon
Jimmuh Farter
Lyndon Baines Vulva
John F***sgerald Corpsedy
Hairy Pooman
Franklin “Wheels” Poosevelt
Softwoodrow (as in flaccid) Killson (for all the Americans that died needlessly fighting the Kaiser)
All of em are in hell or on their way.
Amen. Pomona can hang out in Purgatory though.
I have a gut feeling my state will do us proud this time around.
And if not, chalk another one up to the Democrat Fraud Machine in Philly and Pittsburgh.
Difference this time around is, Trump won’t stand for it.
The other GOP cucks would roll over and urinate down their legs and say “Oh well..”.
We’ll see, either way.
With hindsight, Hoover worst GOP president ever (for opposite reason most idiots think) and Smith not so bad for a rat, I would go for Smith 100%.
But if I actually lived then, I would have been gungho against Smith to put party above my family’s religion. And I might have a been prohibition fan (getting drunk 1 time made me question alcohol use), that would have been another reason to oppose Smith.
Blaine/Cleveland, I don’t know, I’d probably have stuck with the GOP. What’s the beef with Blaine? Cleveland’s democrats were keeping our Black brothers down, things wouldn’t be so bad now if they weren’t Jim Crowed for an additional 100 years after the Civil War.
Federalist/Whig/GOP all the way probably.
Free Soil party would have been tempting in 1848 but I’m lukewarm on Van Buren. I like their 1852 candidate better.
My crap President list is
20th Century Rats, all of them
Andrew Johnson (who was a rat), Buchanan, Drunk Pierce, Tyler (who was really a rat, Whig in name only) and only then Hoover
I don’t feel negatively about Cleveland, Polk, Van B, or Jackson (or Monroe/Madison/Jefferson) but I don’t know if I would have voted for any of em.
Cleveland did nothing really wrong, he was the democrat Coolidge.
Polk, I like how he conquered the southwest, not that I don’t now wish that Cali would sink into the ocean. But I think Henry Clay could have been a heck of a President.
Van B, meh. But get this, as all his ancestors were all Dutch (no English) he is the only President ever who’s ancestry can’t be traced to King John of England (known to popular culture as the evil King from Robin Hood). Yeah even Obama on his mom’s side, some little girl did a class project and found that out. Trump and Shillery probably are too.
Jackson was a cool dude, patriot, but kinda crazy and I don’t think I’d agree with him on the day’s issues.
Don’t forget about Rafferty, Brown, and Voit! Make it a clean sweep by God. And that includes weak sister Toomey.
That’s going WAAAAYYYYYYYYY back. I’ll take your word for it.
No white hot hate for Harry S.? ;)
We’ll see.
I make no predictions.
Why Do People Become Cuckservatives?
Says it right here:
“...because its roots are deeply steeped in both cowardice and betrayal.”
If you can’t believe in your own self and principles, how can you believe ANYTHING is worth fighting for?
It comes down to the courage of your convictions. And many of the folks who claim to be on our side have shown themselves to have feet of clay.
Win or lose, we can thank Trump for exposing the worthless backstabbers. He has truly done our Country a great service.
Well said. No positive attributes = failure.
And I’ve always been very suspect of people that are “everyone’s friend”. Bullsh*t. They’re selling someone and/or something out.
One of the reasons Cleveland was the ONLY post-civil war RAT to win the presidency before Woody Wilson was due to massive defections from rank-and-file Republicans at the time. Blaine was sleazy and corrupt so a lot of Republicans broke ranks and endorsed Cleveland. They were called mugwumps.
Basically they were opposing Blane for similar reasons that you advocated Art Halvorson over Bill Shuster this election cycle: both candidates are "conservative" on paper, but one is decent and clear-cut whereas the other guy is a "milk the system" machine politician running for office to get $$$ and influence.
During the 1884 campaign, Blaine's infamous "Burn this letter" note probably was the final nail in the coffin. I think the election was only close because Cleveland had his own "illegitimate child" campaign scandal. It actually sounds pretty similar to modern day Presidential campaigns where the election was about which candidate had the least dirt on him.
Pennsylvania has been fools gold for quite some time for us...something about this year feels different though. Gore/Kerry/Obama in 2012 all were nervous about losing it and there always was late stage campaigning going on there but it never tipped
This year they are majorly terrified. Bush in 2000 and 2004 did very well their and came within a whisker both times. This time I think Trump wins it
There was not a lot of ideological difference after reconstruction until the Marxists took over the dems in 1896 (1892 in IL with the election of the only Governor worse than Quinn).
So the campaigns were a lot of crap, tariffs the only real issue, GOP (correctly but that’s not gonna work forever) “waving the bloody shirt” on the civil war.

That was a great link but something is messed up now.
Anyway, I wonder how much that anti-Blaine stuff was just the propaganda of the day. It sounds like he was a heck of Sec of State.
