Isn’t impeachment only valid for crimes committed as POTUS, not before?.

The usual source.

You mean, her anal pore, as a friend of mine used to call it?

"destructive of the framers' intent," are terms better applied to the whole careers of Mrs. Clinton & Mrs. Pelosi. The framers would have considered either of those lovelies in high office to be the equivalent of inviting back Benedict Arnold to be our first President.

For rational Americans: How Can Any American?.

Unfortunately, she’s probably correct. But we know her. She’d do something in the first 10 days to give the House grounds to impeach. And even if the House impeaches, we know the Senate won’t convict. We’d be stuck with her for at least 4 years. Unless of course public pressure forced her to resign. Then we’d be stuck with the Joker.

Hmmm. Suppose she means since it’s outside her knowledge (?) of the constitution it shouldn’t be done? Granted, there is nothing concerning the current and possible future question about being under FBI investigation when persuing the office. I’ll bet the founders never thought there would be a chance some criminal would ever be allowed to run because the populace would be too smart. Guess they missed that one. Sorry founders. We ARE ashamed. Some of us.

Who cares what she thinks? Don’t forget, she’s gone on record saying that she’d talked to ghosts in the Capitol building.

Much about the Clintons is outside the Constitutional framework.

They have been operating beyond the normal constraints of Constitutional authority from almost the first day they arrived in Washington, and for Herself, that goes back to the days when she was part of the Jerry Zeifman committee charged with writing the Articles of Impeachment against Richard Nixon. She was severely reprimanded for her “shortcuts” and obvious attempts to prevent Nixon from using the recourse in law to defend himself in such charges.

Since it’s now fashionable to use the IRS to go after political enemies, I think Pelosi should be on the first list of people to investigate.

Pelosi, go back to sleep. Remember when someone asked you about the Constitution and you laughed and thought they were crazy? Gosh, Pelosi, maybe you should have read it back then, nes’t Pas?

So, according to Piglosi being elected to federal office is like receiving a presidential pardon?

All previous crimes are erased (like with a cloth or something) from your record.

The fact is that Hillary’s treasonous conduct is a lot closer to what the framers had in mind than any other impeachment I can recall.

The Constitution does not specify high crimes and misdemeanors “while in office” as a limiting factor.

It begets the question if those high crimes and misdemeanors are only those committed while IN office, how can the president function while IN prison for those actions taken before they became president?

Would you then be required to invoke Amendment 25 as hILLary “is otherwise unable to discharge the powers of the presidency”

By the same token could we then have someone who runs for president, who is a convicted felon, and is presently incarcerated?

Sounds like she’s worried that word of her “pizza joint” scam operation is going to get out.

I guess the Constitution says that only Republicans can be impeached...
