WHOA! It Sounds Like Chris Matthews Just Endorsed Trump (VIDEO) (Wow, But Extreme Caution)

No More Tingles—

Chris Matthews went off on Hillary Clinton last night on MSNBC.

It sounds like he just endorsed Donald Trump.

Chris Matthews: If you like the way things are the way they are headed in this country. If you’d like to continue the destruction of our manufacturing base, and the jobs that went with it. If you like the uncontrollable immigration, if you like the string of stupid wars from Iraq to Libya to Syria. If you want to say yes to all of that, if you want to keep this all the way it is, fine, then vote for Hillary Clinton. If you don’t like the way things are headed you got a chance to really shake the system the system at its roots. If you wake up on Election Day and it’s the same as it is today, if its the same 4 or 5 or 8 years from now, remember you had a chance really change it up but you were to dainty to do it.

It’s safe to say Chris is NOT a Hillary Clinton fan– Vote Trump!

While this is totally bizarre, I watched the video clip and Matthews did say the above. I have no idea where Matthews' rant ended up, but that quote above is pro-Trump advertisement material.

Still waiting for the slime machine to hit Trump this week.

They put forward Paul Manafort/Russia connection, but that doesn't meet the relevance test for Trump.

It does, however, call up memories of the Clinton/Russian Uranium, Podesta Russian investments, Clinton/Crimea/Reset failures.

Not to mention the unsecure server by which, I believe, she INTENTIONALLY passed classified material to Russia et al AFTER payment was assured.

I will say what I said on another thread about this:

Don’t worry about “context”. The sound bite is useful and will seed confusion and demoralize the other side.

Take it and make it go viral. Use first-mover advantage to get it to people that aren’t going to wait for a follow up or a clarification.

No one gives that much of a damn about this guy to make sure they get the full context.

It’s the weapon they use. USE IT TOO!

It reminds me of the Michael Moore piece a few days ago. For a non-endorsement, he sure made a good case for Trump.

Dems must be thinking, "With friends like these..."

I see at Daily Mail they have a story up about Trump and his company sending emails to a bank in Russia.

I also see a tax fraud story going around too on Trump.

Chris has never been the same since he almost died with some type of fever he got traveling years ago.

It just boggles the imagination.

But, her corruption is so bad, and we keep saying, “How can anyone want that kind of obsession with corruption to be near the leadership reins of this country?”

I suppose we should be glad when some people sound like they get it.

I heard that Michael Reagan finally came around to Trump.

Clinton is obsessed with corruption and it’s finally obvious to all who will look at it even a little bit.

I find this hard to believe that he wasn’t playing devil’s advocate - laying out the other perspective as he sometimes does before disagreeing with it. Of course, I’d love for him to have finally woken up.

It won’t be long before he joins Michael Moore on the mandatory apology tour. Yet people will remember.

The clip is taken out of context in that Matthews was saying "this is what I'd say if I were Trump". He didn't actually believe what he was saying but thought it would be an effective tactic for Trump.

It was like when Norman Lear would put right wing words in Archie Bunker's mouth, unintentionally making his points very effectively while not sharing them personally.

He said this about Donald Trump earlier in the race. He understands why people support Trump better than most.

I’m starting to sense that the “people in the know” know something we don’t. After all, Pat Cadell said that the Carter campaign and most of the media knew Carter was finished a week before the election when the rest of the nation was till being told the race was a tie or that Carter was ahead. Nobody likes to tie their raft to a sinking ship and when you see the likes of Chris Matthews and Doug Schoen openly breaking with Hillary, something is up.

I agree with you. That quote out of that guy is gold.

Use the quote and forget the context.

A breath of fresh air. Someone on our side who has a grasp of how politics works. I've been saying for years that we have no obligation to be fair to Democrats, if we get something we should run with it, just like they do.

This is war, and if you play it like a sap, you will lose. Nobody on our side seemed to know how to fight, that is, till we got Trump.

In the 2008 primary, the press’ collective tongues finally wagged after 20 years of dealing with the Clintons. After that election, they silenced their long held criticisms.

They know if she wins they will suck it up and withhold criticism and accountablity (for the rest of their miserable careers 4-8 long years). They may finally have had enough of the bullstalin.

Hillary Clinton is a devoted follower of Saul Alinsky, who wrote this in Rules for Radicals:

“To say that corrupt means corrupt the ends is to believe in the immaculate conception of ends and principles. The real arena is corrupt and bloody. Life is a corrupting process from the time a child learns to play his mother off against his father in the politics of when to go to bed; he who fears corruption fears life.”

I believe Hillary took these words to heart. She believes in the liberational power of corruption, that it is a legitimate organizational principle for political mobilization and action.

The fundamental particle from which corruption springs is the lie. Hillary Clinton believes in lying. She believes that lies are the foundation for the political system that will usher in an era of what she thinks of as "social justice," which really just means lots of resources and power for Hillary.

This is why she lies when the truth would be easier, and corrupts everything she touches.

On election night 2004, the talking point on all of the networks as the earliest poll numbers came in was “just as with his father, it’s the economy stupid” and “Bush was another one term president”. Within the first 10 minutes, they had to drop that script as the election was far different than the polls they had been pushing for months.
