For months, FBI field offices in Washington Los Angeles, Little Rock, Ark., and New York had been gathering information about the Clinton Foundation and other possible public corruption cases and one tied to McAuliffe. The Journal reported that a presentation of their finding to the Justice Department in February didn’t go well.
“That was one of the weirdest meetings I’ve ever been to,” one person in the meeting said.
Some said that the Justice Department immediately started off skeptical about the whole thing, while others believe the FBI didn’t present enough compelling information about the Clinton Foundation to justify an intensified investigation. FBI officials maintained that they were in their right to pursue more aggressive techniques, while Justice Department officials said they wouldn’t authorities such matters.

Further down the FBI chain of command, agents painted a darker image. They told the Journal they were ultimately told to “stand down” and weren’t allowed to take a more aggressive pursuit and they heard that the order was coming straight from McCabe himself.

This is why we need an independent prosecutor that only deals with government corruption.
A lot of crimes goes unpunished when committed by those charged with enforcing the law.

I maintain there is no independence when it comes to corruption.
Is it possible that this was the only time this information could be released for it to stick to the Clintons. If she got elected then everyone would have run for cover for their own safety because she would have been in charge after January. It will be interesting to see how Obama will handle the pardoning aspect here. If the FBI drags the investigation over past the inauguration of Trump, then all bets are off. I don’t think she can be pardoned for something she hasn’t been charged with yet. I think that is what the Clintons are pushing for. She wants to be charged between now and January, not later.

We’ve seen it before. Eric Holder was Eyeball deep in the Pardoning of Marc Rich and the FALN terrorists when Bent Willy was leaving the white house.
Then the stupid mind numbing RINOS APPROVED his nomination as AG.
So expect if Illary wins to see McCabe nominated as AG or head of the FBI when Comey scrurries away to a dark corner.
