On Saturday’s broadcast of CNN’s “Smerconish,” Vice President Joe Biden discussed how he would react if Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump emerged victorious in next month’s presidential election against Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton. Biden said he still hopes Clinton wins, but added he would “extend a hand” if Trump wins. “If he wins, I’ll extend a hand,” Biden said. “He would be president of the United States of America, period.

Biden is far from perfect. But is not the worst guy on their team. He reminds me of those old JFK Democrat ward bosses. Shifty, but not evil.
