If Trump is truly getting 24% of the black vote, then logically Illinois would be in play.

“We feel so used.”

The motto of any former useful idiot who just woke up to freedom....

Why not? I think NYS is in play since I can see Gotham going for Batman.

I took it to mean Chicago was all wrapped up. No way Chicago is in play, why not use that money for some swing state campaigning?

We’ll see though.

I’d love to believe that but I really think they know IL is in the bag so they’re redeploying resources elsewhere. It’s just like her not to pay the staff though, if that’s true.

This is tantamount to putting in the 3rd stringers when a game is wrapped up. Nothing to see here, aside from the fact that the idiots who worked for her got screwed out of their paychecks (IMO they deserved it).

The Clintons have a long history of not paying their bills.

I’m guessing she knows she won IL, so she’s shutting down and ripping off the little people there. That leaves her with more money for states that are in play, so it’s for their own good that she’s ripping them off. They should be grateful to be robbed, since it’s a good cause, shouldn’t they?

I would think that if the odds are 50% or better for a win, best to take the money and effort elsewhere.

However, not paying the staff is a no, no that would cut the % margin if widely known.

You’re analysis is correct.

A good performance for a Republican statewide candidate in Chicago is 20% of the vote. It is foolish for Clinton to waste money in Chicago that could be better applied elsewhere?

Yes, it is, though it is short sighted. This will not be the first time they’ve stiffed little people.
