ALL BECAUSE OF THE P-WORD
boblonsberry.com ^ | 10/27/16 | Bob Lonsberry

Over the p-word.

In a century or two, as they dissect the fall of the United States, as they try to figure out how a nation so vital and strong, so blessed with natural resources and superior heritage, could collapse in upon itself so quickly, it will come down to the p-word.

An old man trying to impress a young man with his social desirability, in a private conversation on a bus, used the p-word.

The staggering revelation that men are attracted to women.

And from that tiny fulcrum, a nation was toppled.

Or so it seems is possible, as America stands not at a fork in the road, but at a T intersection, where the only options are that way and this way. Where the choices are stark and disparate.

And where one road leads to hell.

In America, we are spoiled by 70 years of world power and unmatched prosperity. It has been a long time since we have gone hungry, or had foreign attacks upon our soil or seas. We are two generations into a world apart from history, in which the vexations and conflict of humankind have largely played out on our televisions, but not in our lives.

And it has bred a spirit of expectation and entitlement. We believe we are guaranteed what we have, that the largest issues we will ever face will be those of our dignity and deserts. We march and protest, believing that our ire is a motivating force in the world.

But history is not forgot, and human nature is not changed.

And there are threats all around just now.

A Russian fleet sails through the English channel, while Russian tanks rest in Ukraine and Russian cyber attacks brutalize our politics and our servers.

The failed foreign policy of the Obama-Clinton administration has emboldened and loosed the Russian bear.

In the Pacific, China is militarizing for its own control one of the most important shipping lanes in the world. China is likewise pillaging our intellectual property, raping world markets and our prosperity, and propagandizing its people against us, while the Obama-Clinton administration is alienating our oldest and strategically most imporant ally in the theater -- the Philippines.

Our southern border isn't a border, and hundreds of thousands throng across it. Fully 7% of all the children born in the United States are born to parents in this country illegally, and who thereby gain legal foothold in America, and access to our welfare system. A greater percentage of American households speak a language other than English than at any time in our history, and the immigration policies of the Obama-Clinton administration have dramatically skewed away from whites and Christians, in a demographic and cultural flush of the nation.

Ellis Island has turned into an invasion.

In the name of diversity, we are embracing disunion. We have abandoned the melting pot, and we are inviting hostile colonization of people who have no intent or aptitude for assimilation. They come to America, but not to be American.

And that frays us. No society can remain intact if it does not have a culture, and it seems that one of our parties and one of our candidates is at war against our national culture. Patriotism is mocked, America is vilified, nationalism is denounced.

And the races are pitted against one another, with hostility against whites and American history a constant theme of the Obama-Clinton confederation. You cannot tell people their society is inherently racist without inciting their anger against that society and those you claim have created its systemic racism.

Weakness without, conflict within.

The current leadership has invited aggression from our foreign rivals and incited conflict with our domestic neighbors. Americans are turned against one another and the world is turned against America.

And that is how nations fall. Even great nations.

And we are going to continue down this road, we are going to double down on this destruction.

Because some guy said the p-word.

And that's what we've decided matters.

Snipped from Zero Hedge, by Paul Craig Roberts

http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2016-10-27/paul-craig-roberts-explains-whats-stake-election

What is really disturbing is the pretense by the presstitute scum that Trump’s lewd admiration for female charms is deemed more important than the prospect of nuclear war. At no time during the presidential primaries or during the current presidential campaign has it been mentioned that Russia is being assaulted daily by propaganda, threatened by military buildups, and being convinced that the United States and its European vassals are planning an attack.

A threatened Russia, made insecure by inexplicable hostility and Western propaganda, is a danger manufactured by the neoconservative supporters of Hillary Clinton.
If the American people are really so unbelievably stupid that they think lewd remarks about women are more important than avoiding nuclear war, the American people are too stupid to exist. They will deserve the mushroom clouds that will wipe them and everyone else off the face of the earth.

Donald Trump is the only candidate in the primaries and the general election who has said that he sees no point in conflict with Russia when Putin has shown nothing but desire to work things out to mutual advantage.

The staggering revelation that men are attracted to women.

In the metrosexual media world this is a staggering, and rather unwelcome, revelation.

Not really. If Trump loses, the “p-word” debacle will be only one very small reason for it. I’ll provide more details on this after Election Day, if necessary.

Maybe it's just human nature. We have become too rich, enabling a significant portion of the population to not only navel-gaze for a living, but to expand upon that navel-gazing to enforce upon society at large their idiosyncrasies and even perversions.

OTOH, there is a significant percentage of us who want to follow The Constitution and live in a republic. I don't see any alternative to the country breaking up. Whether that will happen violently or peacefully remains to be seen.

What's interesting about what you posted there is that the scenario you presented doesn't just pit the Clinton campaign against the Trump campaign ... it pits the Clinton team and their "neo-con" cabal of supporters against the Obama administration, too.

It's kind of ironic that Hillary Clinton is basically running to pick up where she left off in 2008 -- as a candidate whose agenda would mimic about 95% of what the George W. Bush administration gave us.

This, by the way, is why Trump has had such a steep hill to climb. He's effectively running as an independent against a Democrat-Republican opposition. The great irony here is that this is what makes him the perfect anti-establishment candidate for a White House bid.

I’m not Lonsberry. Never met him, although I was from his home town many years ago and enjoyed his columns when he was a newspaper guy.

And all this time I thought Mr Trump was just reciting the words to the songs of Michelle Obama’s Favorite Rap Singers.

If you scope out, something similar is happening with the west’s fleeing from Christianity, and it’s mean exclusivity relationship with Truth, and embracing islam....which has literally nothing to do with the west, either in its traditional Christian underpinnings, or with its post-Christian liberal/socialist underpinnings (which are actually related to its Christian underpinnings).

Because Christianity was somehow, in some vague sense, in the past sort of “mean” (something about the crusades, something about slavery, whatever)....then we must welcome and celebrate islam and of course most muslims are not lily white, so, given the west’s obsession with identity politics, it just has to be this way.

Again, same pattern. Because of some small sins of the past, we burn it all down. Pathetic, and idiotic.

It would be interesting to see if two countries can live on the same land, side-by-side in peace.

If one wants to live in liberal La-La-Land they can. They can pay the liberal government’s high taxes, have the liberal government’s laws enforced on them, reap whatever lavish benefits the liberal government rations, with whatever private charities can attempt to fill in the gaps where heavy liberal taxes and regulations allow, and take advantage of any opportunities available under the liberal government’s rules.

If the next door neighbor wants to live in a conservative land they can. They can pay the conservative government’s lower taxes, have the conservative government’s laws enforced on them, reap whatever benefits the conservative government provides, with private charities providing the rest if needed, and take advantage of any opportunities available under the conservative government’s rules.

Trump having said the word “pussy” on tape 11 years ago justifies the suspension of disbelief that Hillary isn’t a lying, criminal, treasonous hateful harridan who has committed more crimes than Al Capone.....

The collapse has not been sudden. The American people for decades have very systematically voted against the truth-tellers. The Democrats have responded by normalizing the lie. And now, with backs to the wall, the Republican process produced Trump, a lifelong Democrat until very recently, who thinks he can out-populist the Democrats.

Hillary did bad things.

Obviously the former is way, way worse than the latter. /s
