...Why Do Investors Seem To Favor Hillary Clinton? ....

Applying Occam’s razor, the simplest answer is that she can be bought.

Because she’s willing to help them rip off the rest as long as they share their largess....

Correct - That is the next coffer for the Feds to conquer and add to their slush funds for spending. It will be a scam just like Social Security. Anyone that falls for the notion of trusting the government to invest your money for you is a sucker.

Market hates change, too, and Hillary is four more years of the same-old-same-old.

My $0.02? Trump gets elected, and the market declines. 20%? Maybe more? in the first year.

Then, as his reforms kick in, it skyrockets.

Big Business (BB) loves Big Government (BG) because it is a guard and enabler for ‘business as usual’. The guard function comes from the regulatory environment. The enabler function comes from the incestuous relationships between the two entities. Thus if your investments are in the larger cap stocks, which is true for most mutual and ETF investors, your tendency is to be voting where your money goes.

Regulatory environment benefits BB by decreasing competition. BBs have the resources to pay for compliance and pass the costs to the purchasers. The smaller the business, the less able to do the same.

Enabler function comes from the resource base again. BBs can establish ‘friendly’ relations with the government functionaries. They can allocate people to help BG bureaucrats do their jobs. They can pay lobbyists to ‘massage’ the legislators and sometimes (Obamacare) even write significant portions of a desired law. BBs can also be end career destinations for members of BG ranging from military to legislators to upper bureaucrats. Lesser businesses do not have these kind of resources.

Thus BBs are symbiotic with BG and tend to being Statists and maintaining a status quo. The smaller the business, the more strangled in regulation, the more decrying of the incestuous BB relations to BG are thus more inclined to being anti-Statists.

The irony is that the campaign money flows are just another cost of BB operations and for contributions to their enablers. This is why the “Citizens United” court case was so enraging to the Statists, it enables the non-Statists to have a degree of equality!

Investors like Democrats because Democrats are easily bought, and Hillary Clinton has spent the last 25 years demonstrating that she sells out cheap.

The Wall Street gang may favor her, because she has already demonstrated that if you "contribute", you get "special favors". Small investors probably think that the Janet Yellen will continue the easy money policy which will benefit the stock market. I guess most don't seem to realize that it can't last forever.

With Hillary, they know there’s a price
If you can pay, you can play

The market is unsure of Trump.
Does he have a price?
If not, however will they be able to play?
Its a new concept, a government that can’t be bought
It worries them.
Markets hate uncertainty

Investors invest. They can invest with Hillary for big payoffs the same as if investing with a corporation. Investing with/in Hillary is even easier; she’s a known quantity and they’re ensured an ROI.

How are they polling “investors”? Half the country has money in the stock market. If they are just calling big wealthy investors who are playing the market and getting rich off of trading schemes and artificially suppressed interest rates, that’s one thing. But, as an ordinary investor, all I know is that she is going to double my capital gains taxes. I vote no!

The other day, a Freeper called it something like “Obamacare for your retirement accounts”.

(Sorry, I don’t remember the Freeper’s name.)

Investors don’t like chaos, and like a system where they know if they cut a big enough check in a back room they can get whatever they want...

Status Quo, vs New Paradigm... I’d be shocked if you saw any large industry backing Trump... they like how the system works, they can get what they want anytime...

I have friends in the private equity markets, with trillions in equity, and they claim if Trump is elected that those funds will unleash massive investments. This would change the markets drastically for the better. Only those with investments in the stock market backed by QE money laundering are for Hillary. Everyone else is waiting to hear Trump has won.

Because she’s a crook and so are most of the big money people.

I’m remined of the notorious bank robber Willie Sutton; when asked why he robbed banks, he said, “That’s where the money is.”

Check out the “Government contracts” section of IBM, Oracle, GE, and all of the S&P. Check out how the non-government sections of these companies service the government sections, and vice versa. Obamacare is about big money grants to Healthcare providers, to insurance companies, to IT companies, and to the many other companies that sub-contract from the prime recipients.

Washington DC is 'elites servicing elites'... ObamaCare is a great example.

MIT elites desigend a system that helped Insurance elites AND gave more power to liberal elites in DC. "Donations" flowed like water... And the people? Their health needs? No one gave a damn.

NOT ONE CITIZENS...

WAS BEGGING TO BE FORCED TO BUY BAD INSURANCE AT HIGH PRICES.

BUT THAT'S WHAT THE ELITES CAME UP WITH BECAUSE IT GREASED THE HANDS OF ALL CORRUPT ELITES. That's the system... and you're right spintreebob - it's everywhere...
