I have been to the Home Office in Croydon to get my resident permit in the UK back in the 70s when I worked in the North Sea. I had to bring letters from my company showing their need for my employment and the fact that I was totally self supporting.
As a legal resident of the UK I did have access to their medical care. I also had the privilege of paying the most obscene tax rates you can imagine.
And the last prime minister with balls. No offense intended.
It’s time for the people of Europe to stop talking and get very, very physical with the people responsible for letting these people in.
