Former Pennsylvania Attorney General Kathleen Kane will spend 10 to 23 months in a county prison for crimes she committed in pursuit of retribution against a political foe, a judge decided Monday.
Kane pleaded with a judge to spare her teenage sons the pain of being separated from their mother when she spoke Monday during her sentencing in Montgomery County Court.
Kane, convicted in August of two felony counts of perjury and less serious charges of false swearing, obstruction, official oppression and conspiracy, apologized for leaking grand jury secrets in a plot to discredit a foe whom she believed was responsible for a negative newspaper article.

The optics on this news story are certainly good for our side since we have a female Democrat Senator challenging Toomey this year. Good for Toomey anyway. He’s running against Trump so what’s good for Toomey may not be good for Trump or vice versa.
The connection to Hillary will never be able to be made though now that she’s been dubbed the new Virgin Mary and lord and savior of democracy by the media.

She deserves 72 months at a minimum. She was was one arrogant, conniving, power hungry b%tch. Note that when finally pulled before the bench she whined and bleated. It’s just what vicious c^nts do.
She wasn’t on trial for that and I’m sure her Democrat successor will continue that policy.

The article does mention once that she is a Democrat. This is the Allentown paper though. I expect the Philly paper will omit that minor detail.

The article is a good read and I recommend it. I think its amazing after all she did there were people who vouched for her. This is esp troubling b/c shes a lawyer and top ‘cop’ for the state, yet she felt completely comfortable perpetrating numerous felonies. It wasnt as though she didnt have a full understand of the laws being broken or the troubles it would cause.
I know she wasn’t on trial for that, she was on trial for the things she did to get back at the folks who called her on doing that in the first place.. they called her on her actions and she decided to go after them personally and broke the law trying to extract revenge.
