Donald Trump made headlines this week when he questioned whether Republican House Speaker Paul Ryan wanted him to prevail over Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton.
“Maybe not,” Trump told Good Morning America on Tuesday. “Because maybe he wants to run in four years… or maybe he doesn’t know how to win. I mean, who can really know?” Trump said.

If Ryan really is working behind the scenes for Hillary in hopes it will help him get the office in 2020 I think it will backfire completely. If Trump loses then the Republican party will lose a tremendous amount of its base, maybe for good. I know it will probably never vote a a Republican candidate for president again. Especially an establishment candidate like Ryan. If Hillary win I expect to see the rise of some very serious third party candidates, on both the left and right.

Any of them working to undermine Trump thinking it helps them in 2020 is delusional.
If Trump loses I will probably give up politics and voting altogether.
What difference, at that point, will it make?
