Have we won Cryptowars 2.0? Our publications have driven the US political elite into the arms of our technology. Yes. We won. #Cypherpunks

Seriously? Smells like circuitous pride injection.

Been reading some of the related tweets. It seems that Wikileaks has had to use another source to help with the dispersion of messages. This group cyberpunks is a bit more rogue and appears to be more associated with Anonymous. Hard to figure out what’s going on here, but several tweets agree that this “spike the ball” tweet is a bit out there.

Brings to mind the earlier tweet today about Brazile and Kaine from Wikileaks. That style is a bit out of character for Assuage it seems. Different folks in charge now...

It appears they’re implying that fear created by the previous leaks has herded the DNC, certain Democrats and perhaps others into another compromised situation as far as electronic communications.

Hard to figure out what’s going on here,

When the 'head' of a force it taken out, there is always a fight between the subordinates to see who gets to be the new leader.

Assange has been taken out of circulation. Sure, he has a dead man's switch, which has been activated, but the data is in the hands of those subordinates, and it is up to them to release it. One can assume they will do so in a manner that benefits 'them' the most. These tweets are part of the juggling for position.

Good point. It really is hard to know what is going on behind the scenes. Cryptic short messages... I’m a bit uncomfortable with the bravado, but that’s me.

Honking their own horn is likely ill-advised, agreed. But, I do believe that’s what they’re implying.

One Twitter user I follow who has been in the know and appears to be connected with Anonymous is very worried that Wikileaks has been compromised and is now a NSA honeypot. He is advising all Anonymous people to NOT upload files to Wikileaks.

We may have read the same thing. The guy also said the CIA or NSA could be manning Wikileaks. Some of their Tweets seem out of character.

Bragging is a Hillary move.

Delivering is an Assange move.

To me, the message means that at least some U.S. government officials have begun to use encryption to protect their communications. If that’s the case, posting this message was tipping the hand, as if to say, “we are still in your systems.”
