Unfortunately we do not know from the email if permission to set up the account was granted, or if the account ever existed. All we know is that the plan was in the works.
My gut feeling is that Bernie was dragged into this 2016 campaign because if it were a Hillary and O’Malley primary...no one would be charged up much. The enthusiasm at this point would be half of what you see. I think Bernie was assured of zero debt at the end of this campaign....the party promised that part, I guess. And there would be some additional bonus for him (that house perhaps).
Oddly, no one figured that Bernie would charge up the university and youth vote to this extent. Roughly forty-percent of the nation for the Democratic primary....felt Bernie was the guy, and probably still think that way. He was just there to fake people along to reach this “accept Hillary” stage.
