US playing Syria terrorism card as part of perpetual struggle for global dominance – (From Assad)
RT ^ | 10/14/16

"The conflict in Syria is part of Washington’s prime goal to impose global hegemony, President Bashar Assad told a Russian newspaper. Terrorists in Syria, he said, are being used by the US and its Gulf allies to assert control over the region, primarily to weaken Iran.

Stating that the West and especially the United States never stopped the Cold War mentality in pursuit of world dominance, even after the collapse of the Soviet Union, Assad said that global tensions, especially when it comes Syria, are escalating into World War III.

“The whole issue is about keeping the hegemony of the Americans around the world, not allowing anyone to be a partner on the political or international arena, whether Russia or even their allies in the West,” Assad said in an interview with Komsomolskaya Pravda.

In the Syrian conflict, the US is using terrorists to achieve its own and its allies’ objectives in the wider Middle East, the main goal of which is to weaken Damascus’ regional ally – Iran. In 2011, when the Syrian conflict began, world powers were negotiating with Iran over its atomic enrichment program.

After the conflict started, the US and its regional allies used the terrorists which, according to Assad, the US created, to push through its agenda.

“The United States has always, since Afghanistan in the early eighties, until this day, they think 'terrorism is a card we can play. We can put on the table,'” the Syrian president said.

Terrorists which proliferated widely after the fall of Saddam Hussein’s regime in Iraq, were financed and “whitewashed” by the extremist Sunni Wahhabism brand of Islam, exported by Saudi Arabia, he said.

“We all know that the majority of those terrorists belonging to Al Qaeda-affiliated groups, ISIS, al-Nusra, Ahrar al-Sham, and other organizations..."

A struggle for the caliphate, not US global dominance.

Your source for this is RT (Russia Today)

"RT [Russia Today] has been called a propaganda outlet for the Russian government[10][11][12] and its foreign policy[10][11][13][14] by former Russian officials[15] and by news reporters,[16] including former RT reporters.[17][18][19]

It has also been accused of spreading disinformation.[20][21][22]

The United Kingdom media regulator Ofcom has threatened RT with sanctions because of repeated violations of its rules on impartiality.[23]

The network states that it offers a 'Russian perspective' on global events.[24]"

Bill Clinton went out and started a war against Serbia.

it seems absolutely they could do that all over again.

I think Hillary is going to try to get us into a major war.

Maybe so, but the WashPo and NYSlimes apear to be a propaganda outlet for this administration, so why not check out all sources when attempting to discern the truth?

Assad and Putin need to make it very clear, the the problem is Obama. They should not use the words USA or Amrica when describing the problem.

They need to specifically isolate and freeze the target, Obama, Obama, Obama. This is the Alinsky rules for radicals technique that should be used against Obama himself.

Without doubt they are. Just pointing out that the Russians are very slick when it comes to putting out disinformation and employing complex acts of deception. The Russians are great chess players, thinking many moves ahead of their opponents, while most of us, unfortunately, suck at simple checkers.

I’m not convinced Hillary wants a war as in “going to try,” but I think she’s certainly inept enough to make one probable. She seems pretty intent on standing up to the Russians, but America is on the wrong side of the Syrian struggle. The Obama administration that included Hillary has been helping to destabilize the Middle East as part of the so-called Arab Spring.

Assad, Putin, Obama, Soros, and ISIS all obviously pose serious threats to the US. Each seeks to knock us off our pedestal as leader of the free world. Only the Soros-supported Obama admin is attempting, and increasingly succeeding, to do it from within.

Russia is using the situation in Syria as rationale to move into the Middle East and ultimately grab control of it. This despite what they’re doing in Eastern Europe and elsewhere, in terms of aggressive expansionism.

Thanks to Obama, who has substantially helped to strengthen the Russians, while substantially weakening us, they apparently feel the time is finally right for them to make their long-awaited big move on the world stage.

Mike Pence, in the recent (first) VP debate, Oct 5, 2016:

“When Donald Trump and I observe that, as I’ve said, in Syria, in Iran, in Ukraine, that the small and bullying leader of Russia has been stronger on the world stage than this administration, that’s stating painful facts. That’s not an endorsement of Vladimir Putin — that’s an indictment of the weak and feckless leadership of Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama.”

______________________________

Also from the Oct 5, 2016 first VP debate...

QUIJANO (Moderator): I want to turn now to Syria. Two hundred fifty thousand people, 100,000 of them children, are under siege in Aleppo, Syria. Bunker buster bombs, cluster munitions, and incendiary weapons are being dropped on them by Russian and Syrian militaries. Does the U.S. have a responsibility to protect civilians and prevent mass casualties on this scale, Governor Pence?

PENCE: The United States of America needs to begin to exercise strong leadership to protect the vulnerable citizens and over 100,000 children in Aleppo. Hillary Clinton’s top priority when she became secretary of state was the Russian reset, the Russians reset. After the Russian reset, the Russians invaded Ukraine and took over Crimea.

And the small and bullying leader of Russia is now dictating terms to the United States to the point where all the United States of America — the greatest nation on Earth — just withdraws from talks about a cease-fire while Vladimir Putin puts a missile defense system in Syria while he marshals the forces and begins — look, we have got to begin to lean into this with strong, broad-shouldered American leadership.

It begins by rebuilding our military. And the Russians and the Chinese have been making enormous investments in the military. We have the smallest Navy since 1916. We have the lowest number of troops since the end of the Second World War. We’ve got to work with Congress, and Donald Trump will, to rebuild our military and project American strength in the world.

But about Aleppo and about Syria, I truly do believe that what America ought to do right now is immediately establish safe zones, so that families and vulnerable families with children can move out of those areas, work with our Arab partners, real time, right now, to make that happen.

And secondly, I just have to tell you that the provocations by Russia need to be met with American strength. And if Russia chooses to be involved and continue, I should say, to be involved in this barbaric attack on civilians in Aleppo, the United States of America should be prepared to use military force to strike military targets of the Assad regime to prevent them from this humanitarian crisis that is taking place in Aleppo.

There’s a broad range of other things that we ought to do, as well. We ought to deploy a missile defense shield to the Czech Republic and Poland which Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama pulled back on out of not wanting to offend the Russians back in 2009.

QUIJANO: Governor, your two minutes are up.

PENCE: We’ve just got to have American strength on the world stage. When Donald Trump becomes president of the United States, the Russians and other countries in the world will know they’re dealing with a strong American president.

http://www.nytimes.com/2016/10/06/us/politics/vice-president-transcript.html

______________________________

And...

PENCE: What we’re dealing with is the — you know, there’s an old proverb that says the Russian bear never dies, it just hibernates.

And the truth of the matter is, the weak and feckless foreign policy of Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama has awakened an aggression in Russia that first appeared a few years ago with their move in Georgia, now their move into Crimea, now their move into the wider Middle East.

And all the while, all we do is fold our arms and say we’re not having talks anymore.

To answer your question, we just need American strength. We need to — we need to marshal the resources of our allies in the region, and in the immediate, we need to act and act now to get people out of harm’s way.

Assad is NOT a threat to the USA. He may be a threat to Obama and his cohorts including the despicable Saudis but he is not a threat to the USA.

Assad is NOT a threat to the USA.

Although I momentarily confused him with the leader of Iran, he certainly has been and still is a threat to our allies, such as Israel.

Russian build-up in Syria part of secret deal with Iran's Quds Force leader

September 11, 2015
Jennifer Griffin, Lucas Tomlinson
FoxNews.com

As the Pentagon warily eyes a Russian military build-up in Syria, Western intelligence sources tell Fox News that the escalated Russian presence began just days after a secret Moscow meeting in late July between Iran's Quds Force commander - their chief exporter of terror - and Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Fox News has learned Quds head Qassem Soleimani and Putin discussed such a joint military plan for Syria at that meeting, an encounter first reported by Fox News in early August. ..."

The Quds Force is the international arm of Iran's Revolutionary Guard, involved in exporting terrorism to Iran’s proxies throughout the Middle East including Lebanon, Syria, Iraq and Yemen. ..."

Officials who have monitored the build-up say they've seen more than 1,000 Russian combatants - some of them from the same plainclothes Special Forces units who were sent to Crimea and Ukraine. Some of these Russian troops are logistical specialists and needed for security at the expanding Russian bases.

Pro-Hezbollah Paper: Russia, Iran, Syria, Hezbollah Form Alliance

Sept 23, 2015

A prominent pro-Hezbollah newspaper in Lebanon reported Tuesday that Russia and the terrorist organization have formed an alliance and will fight together in Syria. "The parties to the alliance are the states of Russia, Iran, Syria, and Iraq, with Lebanon's Hezbollah as the fifth party,"

Al-Akhbar Editor in Chief Ibrahim al-Amin wrote. The pact would be called the "4+1 alliance", a pun based on the P5+1 that negotiated the nuclear deal with Iran. Hezbollah is a proxy of Iran based in Lebanon and Moscow has been working with Tehran to save Bashar al-Assad's regime, even sending men and weapons to Syria.

You are right that Russian media is not a highly reliable source, not like 100% accurate wikileaks.

However ...

Hillary has taken tons of bribe money from Qatar and the Saudis. They want Assad taken down and helped fund ISIS.

It’s already widely known that Iran is teaming up to take out ISIS.

Iran and Russia are filling the power vacuum after we pulled out of Iraq.

We can be a part of that group — help take down ISIS and keep an eye on the Quds Force. Or we can fight everyone at the same time.
