Well then how are you supposed to identify and fight evil?
As anyone who knows my posting history on this forum knows, I would love for anyone to admire and respect the bishops that comprise the Catholic Church. But I want that to occur for the right reasons, for truthful reasons, (and many do exist) not because of some half-truth or fantasy.
Below are the words of His Excellency, in context so one may make an informed decision about where he stands WRT this election’s “choices”:
“In the meantime, a friend describes the choice facing voters in November this way: A vulgar, boorish lout and disrespecter of women, with a serious impulse control problem; or a scheming, robotic liar with a lifelong appetite for power and an entourage riddled with anti-Catholic bigots.
In a nation where choice is now the unofficial state religion, the menu for dinner is remarkably small.”
He does not mention political parties when giving his homilies, but does mention issues.
When not on the pulpit he is very specific about his opinions regarding Hillary(ie Jezebel)
Thank you.
There should be universal public outrage among Catholics and church leadership towards the Clintons.
The Archbishop of Philadelphia should not stand alone in defense of the Catholic church. Who else possesses a spine and has gone on record to voice their outrage?
Kiss off, twerp.
Both Clintons are liars.
It doesn’t exactly take divine revelation to figure these things out about Hillary!
No real Catholic could vote for her anyway, although many of the Kaine-Kerry-Kennedy-Pelosi types will.
PING!
Unfortunately, most voters figure most pols are liars. So, that washes out, and voters turn to economic self-interest. With nearly 1/2 the electorate on the gov’t teat, that one splits too.
So, what’s next, that can really get voters’ attention?
It SHOULD be freedom, but sadly, in this society, I think not. Corruption should be way up there too, but, unfortunately, what voters see as their immediate self interest tends to blind them.
What does fly, though, is the question “Which candidate is more likely to get one or those who one cares about, killed?” Here, with the ME in flames, 100’s of thousands killed, and now tensions ratcheting up with Russia, Trump has a big opening.
Obama could short circuit that, say, at the end of October, by cutting a deal with Putin, but Putin could force the terms to be so one sided that even Obama could not make that deal (Obama’s puppet-masters would not allow it.)
