Nice to see. Really want to see the NFL crumble.

Or, of course, change.

The anti-America, kneel-down affects are hurting them BIG TIME! And I’m glad!!

They are being hammered by their advertisers too! They promised big viewership, but are missing their numbers every week! Because America can live without the NFL...however, the NFL can’t live without Americans!

Well, I confess that did tune in a little to watch the Lions nearly pee away a big halftime lead but then salvage it with the field goal and then the interception in the last minute.

I watched a little of the Packers game, got bored and went to bed.

This week they're wearing pink for breast cancer or whatever. They won't allow players to wear any insigna that supports law and order. They allow the BLM agenda to be on display during the Star Spangled Banner. They keep playing with the rules. Roger Goodell is a politically correct moron (JMHO)

It would take a lot to destroy the popularity of the NFL. But, my gosh, they sure are working hard to do just that!

You’re right, grania, it will take a lot to bring the NFL to its knees.

But the drip, drip, drip has been going on for years, culminating into the type of league and PC culture we see today.

I would say Colin Kaepernick is the Megyn Kelly of the NFL. I, and many others, cut the cable the week following that first ‘debate’ when she sandbagged Trump from the opening bell.

But losing the cable wasn’t hard because my time with FOX had slowly but steadily dwindled for years. And now, I not only don’t miss it, I rarely even think of FOX anymore.

I suspect it will be the same with the NFL.

I have not watched one game this season. Many owners, players, and coaches are getting nervous, but they are afraid to speak out. The NFL front office and media will label them as “racists” if they do.

I am a die-hard Cowboys fan!

But, I have only watched about three quarters of ONE game this year. I have too much stuff to do that is much more important than watching football - PERIOD!

I was visiting the majority of my grand-kids this weekend, and didn’t get on the road back home until after the game started. And even though I had a three hour drive, I only listened to about half of the game.

This is why I think if Trump wins, I would not be surprised that Roger Goodell resigns before the owner posse shows up and pushes him out.

The NFL has to be concerned that 1) more and more Americans can’t afford to attend the games or buy merchandise, and 2) more and more Americans are being forced to work (for low wages) during their games anyway, so there is a smaller audience for advertisers.

The NFL was a “bread-and-circuses” luxury from the before-times, when Americans had 40 hour workweeks with real salaries.

NFL Week 5 Ratings - TNF AZ vs SF - Ratings down 22%

Aside from being a League composed of mostly rich thugs with a pi$$ poor commissioner, the NFL is suffering from overexposure -- Thursday Night, All day Sunday, Sunday Night, Monday Night. Too much, and I love football.

Well, that’s a surprise. Who would have guessed that starting all NFL games with “We despise your country” would cost them viewers? It’s all about starting a dialogue, and we all know the best way to do that is to insult the person you want to dialogue with.
