A few minutes into Sunday’s debate Donald Trump’s decade-old crude sexual banter with a reporter from an entertainment show was mentioned by the CNN moderator. Donald again apologized for the comments, and Hillary immediately pounced on Trump’s misogyny, throwing in his alleged racism and Islamophobia. To his credit, Trump ignored her slurs and attacked her record. When Democrat loyalist Martha Raddatz pressed on, Trump let loose with a powerful contrast with Bill’s record of abuse––which Hillary side-stepped.

Many of us with WWII fathers (pop had me at 47) know one would be hard pressed to find them on tape ever saying things like this.
It was a different time, where hollywood and WOMEN still respected women! AND DEMANDED it of men.
Certainly not a factor in a presidential debate, but I’m glad Trump acknowledged it was wrong, apologized and moved on to the kill.
I think the Trump of even a few months ago, would not have handled it nearly as well.
He is growing and maturing quickly before our eyes. A beautiful thing to watch.
Another observation from last night... Hillary’s ‘health problems’ are well under control. Trump’s outbursts are measured and controlled. Another two weeks like last night and the Clintons will be liquidating assets and searching for a new country to scram to. Voter fraud notwithstanding.

Agree, it’s dumb and duplicitous to pretend to be shocked over Trump’s language. It’s complete political hypocrisy.

Also if I am not mistaken, Mr. Trump came to faith in Christ, from what I have read a few months back, and he accepted personal responsibility right away after that tape came out.

Democrats are frustrated because they insisted Americans overlook BJ Clinton’s White House romps (remember Move On?) and now those same Americans with lowered standards seem willing to overlook Trump’s comments from 11 years ago.
Unless a Dem insisted BJ step down 20 years ago, they have no moral authority whatsoever concerning Trump’s comments versus BJ’s actions - and this includes Hillary.

And this is the logical conclusion of the GOP having completely pandered to the extreme religious right for so many decades.
They've set themselves up for complete failure.
They established for themselves standards of conduct that are absolutely impossible for the average person to attain.
They handed the Dems plenty of ammunition to attack them for any little breach of proper courtly behavior, no matter the context, or how irrelevant or how long ago.
Are there extremely pious people out there that have never uttered a swear word in their lives and were virgins up until the night of their 10th wedding anniversary?
Yes.
But the number of people like that is such a tiny sliver of the population that they are irrelevant, and more importantly, are totally useless when fighting back against the vicious Leftist juggernaut.
Our side should have long ago stopped trying to emulate those people.
Our side needs warriors, not pansy white knights or perfumed princes. This is war, not a cotillion.

I’m not sure Hillary’s health problems are under control. Did you see how she white-knuckled the microphone? Also how her writing hand was so contorted when she was jotting on her notepad? She also started looking bleary-eyed toward the end, like the drugs were beginning to wear off. Also the wandering eye began to pop up, too.
Of course, the Democrats are vile hypocrites. They have no problem with Bill Clinton doing much worse things, because he's one of them. Everything is political to Marxists; there is no absolute "morality".
Didn’t see her health eroding.. But I was too busy jumping up and down each time Trump landed a punch.
Very well put, I would add that Trump as a flawed candidate and man is in the exact position we need to take them on. A Romney or Ryan would have looked like the church lady pointing out Hillary’s sins, the left would have again painted her as the victim seeking sympathetic outpourings of support.
I enjoyed Trumps takedown of her faux outrage.
Which is why Trump's line of attack broke Hillary. He properly painted her as an enabler of the worse sorts of sexual predation by Bill. Hillary was in charge of the infamous Bimbo Eruptions Unit.

I didn't say it was the fault of the religious right.
I said it was the fault of the GOP for pandering to it and trying to emulate a holier than thou image that is impossible to maintain.
