I think the big mouth political money kingpins are making this an issue and we, the people, are not swayed by their shameless attempts to force Trump out.
Just do the comparison:
Trump made some stupid lockerroom- comments in private, as a private citizen over 10 years ago.
Hillary, as secretary of state refused to protect and send help to an American ambassador in Benghazi, letting him be murdered by terrorists, then lied about it. She also jeopardized national security by using an unsecure home email server to send out highly classified national security information, and lied about it.
Which is more egregious and disqualifying for the office of the president of the US?

Trump talked dirty eleven years ago and has quite legally avoided paying some taxes. Yet, the leftmedia, Hillary Clinton and the RINO establishment want us to believe that he is ‘unfit’ to associate with decent people, much less, be president. They say this with a straight face, no less.
No sale. Trump may well be a gamble but Hillary is a guaranteed disaster for our freedom and safety.

Trump should also make the exact poits you made, at the debate, when they will bring up his ancient comments as a private citizen, trying to get him to talk about it and sink him.

Nothing else matters. We are correct about the Clinton’s immorality. Now we are led by the nose by the Clinton’s/media into talking about tired old personal matters.
But being right is irrelevant if Trump doesn’t win. It is never the most qualified candidate that wins, it is the best campaigner that wins.
Trump has outworked Hillary at every turn but is now sidetracked over loser personal matters.
Trump needs to offer a better vision of the future about borders, Supreme Court, tax reform, security, and jobs. And....personalize that vision.
That’s it, 5 points, no more. Hammer them home, talk about nothing else.

’ the tape’ - I was a private citizen, no one was blackmailed, no one was raped, nothing harmed our country and NO ONE DIED. The American people are smarter than you - or Hillary, who has, long before her ‘deplorable’ statement, referred too as 50% illiterates - The American people can see this whole thing for what it is: pure nasty politics at it’s worst. And when the Clinton’s are concerned - it’s been decades of the nastiest of politics - and the American people see thru’ the Clinton lap-dog media as well.
The American people want - and deserve - to be TRULY represented in Washington. This is what the real battle going on is about: If I’m elected - an outsider not owned by special interests, not compromised by cronyism, the established cabal, I will put in place people who are also not part of the cabal - in other words, we will sweep the halls in DC clean - and they are panicked. The corruption as usual will STOP.
Let’s get on to the news stories that you are trying to push off the news- that the American people have a right to know about, For Example, right now - Let’s just take the ONE story that should - at least - have the amount of coverage of ‘the tape’ - That the FBI rank and file are outraged at the damage to the bureau that has been done by Comey and demanding an investigation into very serious apparently criminal collusion between Comey and the Clinton camp - which included even Comey giving the Clinton camp permission to destroy their laptops to prevent information on them from being discovered!
The American people are owed the answers on this scandal and many others - Like Where Hillary lost $6 BILLION dollars of the tax payers money while Sec of State - and NO ONE is asking where it went....
ARe you going to waste this time on the tape, the tape, the tape - or you going to cover the REAL news that is destroying our country - that the American people have a right to know?
