Ohio Sen. Rob Portman Calls on Trump to Quit
Wall Street Journal ^ | October 8, 2016 | Reid J. Epstein

Ohio Sen. Rob Portman became the latest Republican senator to call on Donald Trump to quit the race.

“While I continue to respect those who still support Donald Trump, I can no longer support him,” Mr. Portman said in a statement. “I continue to believe our country cannot afford a Hillary Clinton presidency. I will be voting for Mike Pence for president.”

Mr. Portman becomes the latest in a flood of Republicans to have abandoned the party’s presidential nominee Saturday, a day after a 2005 recording emerged of Mr. Trump making lewd and degrading comments about women.

The way I see it, a vote for Pence is a vote for the GOP ticket. Portman is choosing whichever party elector has Pence on the ticket. Vote for Pence, get Trump and Pence. The electors don’t have any way to change the ticket nominated at the convention, other than orders from the party.

Yup! I guess the Uniparty sees a Trump victory and the only way to save the Labor Cheap Express is to throw the Senate to the Dems.

What a moron, he says the nation can’t afford a Shrillary Clinton presidency, but he acts to help elect Shrillary.

There is no other feasible alternative, it is either Trump or Shrillary. All these quivering RINO weasels are just helping Shrillary.

Maybe these guys need to know that we will literally VOTE FOR THE DEMOCRAT if they don’t stand by Trump. Hillary has committed treason and murder and lies about everything including her fitness to serve.

Somebody needs to remind him that the voters elected Trump not the party. Who do these bitches think they are trying to overturn the will of the people?

Is this how the Republicans lose the Senate? The House?

Portman, you lost my vote a couple years back. It doesn’t matter what you say or think to this Ohioan. You will have to do it without me.

I said it last night, and I'll say it again today:

I have no problem with any of these candidates throwing Trump under the bus. They have their own races to win, and they can't be dragged down by an erratic candidate who has had no loyalty to the Republican Party and is going to disappear from politics forever if he loses.

I’m done with them. All of them.

“However [political parties] may now and then answer popular ends, they are likely in the course of time and things to become potent engines by which cunning, ambitious, and unprincipled men will be enabled to subvert the power of the people and to usurp for themselves the reins of government, destroying afterwards the very engines which have lifted them to unjust dominion.”

Expect these azzholes to trickle out a little at a time to keep it in the news. If just one of them can tell me how they spoke out against Hillery corruption, I might consider voting for them, .... when I’m dead.
