Ohio Sen. Rob Portman became the latest Republican senator to call on Donald Trump to quit the race.
“While I continue to respect those who still support Donald Trump, I can no longer support him,” Mr. Portman said in a statement. “I continue to believe our country cannot afford a Hillary Clinton presidency. I will be voting for Mike Pence for president.”
Mr. Portman becomes the latest in a flood of Republicans to have abandoned the party’s presidential nominee Saturday, a day after a 2005 recording emerged of Mr. Trump making lewd and degrading comments about women.

I rarely consider myself a "single issue" voter, but I make exceptions for "conservative" traitors like Portman, LaHood, and Peter King.
This sure has a stink like they planned it to be Hillary all of the time. They knew these recordings were out there. They had to, back in the primaries. They brushed aside Bernie voters, now they're trying to brush aside Trump voters. It's just so blatant. People wake up.

I was waiting for this. Portman was a member of the Sea Island conspiracy. At least Strickland is honest about being a Soros sellout. My county carried Trump for the primary. Portman will regret this in my county next week, count on it.

You added what I left out. Princess Portman would be happy as a clam if Trump had said “Grab ‘em by the beans.”
Having said that ... NOBODY in the House or Senate should stick their neck out for Trump if their own polling numbers tell them that it would be disastrous to support him. That's just life. Trump had no political background and came out of nowhere to win the GOP nomination, so he should be more than prepared to win on his own.
