I am curious about it being our fault.

Never heard that before.

Thought it was a fight between the Grey’s and Reptilians and we teamed up with the Grey’s.

Am I wrong?

It was a fight between ETs and our security forces. Our security people are not recruited for their intelligence, and a small cultural misunderstanding led to a gun battle. Thanks to the fact that a kinetic damping field was in place, our security people's guns didn't fire -- until the field was turned off. Then they fired at whatever direction the guns were pointed. The ET's weapons weren't mechanical and weren't affected by the damping field.

After the fight, they broke off relations with us because we weren't using their technology, such as lasers and microchips, for the good of mankind. The people behind the projects were using them for their own personal agendas. We're quarantined to this solar system until the situation is remedied.

Okay, but help me out here: I seem to recall it was not just ETs vs us, but we were aligned with the Grey’s against the Reptilians. I swear, I’ve read and heard that. Were we fighting ETs in toto, or were we aligned?

What I’m wondering is how much if any of a nuclear exchange between the US and Russia could get through. Or is preemption so firmly established that neither side would even try.

I was a witness of sorts when preemption was demonstrated in the mid-1960’s. But, just because they can doesn’t mean they will in all cases. AFAIK.
