Of course it matters. Do you think Hillary is going to live through the winter? A vote for Hillary is a vote for Kaine.

The Money quote. Even die-hard dems have to be scratching their heads and saying, "Do I really want this guy to be President?"

“It got a LOT of people off the fence.”

I agree. Hoping Trump will take a page from Pence and have a better performance in this Sunday’s debate.

He’s got his solid base voters. Now time to polish things up a bit and appeal to those we can pull to our side.

He makes Paul Ryan look like the lightweight that he actually is.

The “rabid” Tim Kaine .... one seizure away from being President if ILLary wins. That’s enough to make me vote Trump/Pence, if I were undecided, which I’m not - Trump all the way & not just because of Pence.

When CBS publishes an article like this suggesting Pence has helped the ticket it implies they are noting polls showing the race is tighter than the MSM thinks.

In the last debated Kaine came across as prolapsed anus.

The VP is just a heartbeat away from being President. America look at Pence then look at Kaine. The choice is clear.

The plain truth is that Trump and HRC are too old to run for President, so it matters a great deal who their VPs are. Right-wingers will prefer the Republican candidate, not matter what, while lefties will prefer the Democrat candidate, no matter what. However, independents are a toss-up and even partisans are human, and most people watching the VP debate would like Pence and find Caine repellent, so...advantage TRUMP!

I agree. My opinion of him went up two-fold.

And if you haven't seen this I think it may increase even a little further:

OMG! What Mike Pence Did Last Night Will Make Donald Trump Cry Tears Of Joy

A real Mensch!

They act like they have so many intellectual giants and instead are all morons.

The left has a few intellectuals but they are all totally brainwashed and basically uneducated. They have never studied the Founders, few have read the Constitution, precious few know about the Age of Enlightenment and the minds of Montesquieu, Locke and de Tocqueville.

They also are Godless atheists which totally affects their mind set.

Their higher education has been Marxist drivel and they refuse to open their minds to even rational debate. Right away they smirk, start ridicule and Alinsky's other techniques, e.g. Kaine the other night.

Let's hope we defeat them at the ballot box.

And they are probably noting that the Pence/Kaine debate is hurting Hillary in the polls. VP debates may not normally have an impact, but Kaine was an absolute embarrassment to the Democrat ticket. Who knows, in a close election, that debate could help tip the balance for some people.

Trump isn’t too old, but if he wins I give him 6 months before he is bored out of his mind and sick of Washington politics. He may not even last that long.

I DOES matter because it promptly exposed all the downsides of Tim Kaine--and that's not including the creepy-looking face that became an Internet meme! Especially now with the continuing health issues with Hillary Clinton that the Clinton campaign still can't shake off....

The Democrats run Clinton-Kaine, and Kaine turns out to be the one who blows it.

Gotta admit, I did NOT see that coming.

I completely disagree. Trump always wants a challenge—and why not with cleaning up the mess that the US Government? I think Trump will likely serve one term, then turn it over to Mike Pence.

Kaine came across as the kind of person the Democrats warn us that Trump is.
