Who Are the Real Fascists?
American Thinker ^ | October 5, 2016 | Scott Mayer

The Left is relentless in its attempt to nail the label of “fascist” to those on the right side of the political spectrum, Donald Trump being the most recent victim of this deceitful tactic. In truth, it is the massive increase in regulations and cronyism brought about by the progressive Left, that has the U.S. more and more resembling an actual fascist state.

Anyone wishing to experience this on a macro scale need only attempt doing business in California. Take just one industry as an example: construction, and one small sub-section within it: electrical -- the industry in which I work. As an electrical contractor for nearly twenty years, I’ve seen the regulatory environment grow over time but especially so over the last decade.

Surprisingly, individuals and corporations are still permitted to own property within the Peoples Republic of California. But those wanting to actually develop said property will quickly discover “ownership” is merely a relative term.

Again, taking just one area -- consumption of electricity -- look at the control the state now maintains over the use of private property. The California Energy Commission has a set of regulations called Title-24 that dictate the strict energy saving requirements for the construction of residential and commercial “private property.” All for the collective good, of course. Now, the free market already provides all the information and incentive necessary to employ any energy (cost) saving measures -- if an “owner” chooses to do so. But far from being right-wing, fascism is the antithesis of individuals being free to choose.

There is a strong totalitarian streak within liberalism.

Liberals claim to be so tolerant and open and all that. But they seek to impose their “tolerance” on everyone else through force.

The LGBTQ crowd, the feminazi’s, and the racists have all used the heavy hand of Government to punish those who express opposing views, regardless of how benign the other world view is - they are today’s fascists.

And the super-smart, super wealthy, and super sensitive cultural elites make sure the fascists prevail - they are the enablers.

Problem is We the People are mad as hell, and aren’t going to take it anymore.

ALL totalitarianism exists only in the left. On the extreme right, is anarchy. On the extreme left, is total government control.

Just scratch the surface of what passes for history these days and it's obvious the democrat party has been fascist, well before any Europeans, ever since the era of Reconstruction after the Civil War.

Hitler picked up the idea of eugenics from the Sanger wing of the democrat party (same thing as the KKK wing, by the by), modeled their eugenics laws on US laws that grant the government authority to sterilize anyone they see fit (upheld in the USSC in Buck v Bell - anyone feeble minded, an elastic definition of there ever was one), and had a US attorney draft German laws that made it illegal for Jews to marry Germans based on US laws against blacks marrying whites (German laws were more liberal, actually, less than 1/8 Jewish meaning you were German, while in the US being 1/16 black was where the line was drawn).

There's no question where the fascists in the US are, there's only the question that I've been asking since the sixties, why won't anyone honestly point at the democrat machine that uses the same tactics and admits they have the exact same goals from massive forced abortion, through false environmentalism as a way to control all personal behavior, and straight through to locking up and sterilizing those the believe are deplorable, feeble minded, or whatever their catch phrase of the day.

The author could have saved a lot of time by simply putting a full stop after the first two words of his article.

Trump need to use the term “SOCIOECONOMIC FASCISTS” for today’s left-wingers.

They are all about CONTROL of society and the economy. They do NOT stand for LIBERTY and thus are not “Liberals” in the classic liberalism sense which held individual rights in high regard. Today’s left wingers are COLLECTIVISTS who loathe individualism.

Most people think of MILITARY fascist regimes, so we need the SOCIOECONOMIC qualifier in this case to distinguish.

Hitler uses threats to take Czechoslovakia for the industry, the US fascists use air-strikes and finances for Allah Akbar scum to take Libya for the oil, gold, and weapons cache.

Hmmm, I'm not seeing the difference between military fascists and your socioeconomic fascists. The only difference is that Hitler hadn't been buying off other nations for seventy years before he unleashed his military.

Even the British goal of war between Germany and Russia using the military coup running Poland in the thirties (a military leadership that gladly took a chunk of Czechoslovakia right along with Germany taking most of it, by the by) who claimed half of Ukraine as their means to destroy both Russia and Germany look like they're still the same albeit with Merkel bought off to help.

The very name "Fascism" comes from the Italian word fascio, which means a bundle of rods tied together - itself derived from the Latin word fasces.

From wikipedia: "The symbolism of the fasces suggested strength through unity: a single rod is easily broken, while the bundle is difficult to break. Similar symbols were developed by different fascist movements"

Just as Obama's motto "Forward" was a traditional rallying cry of the communists - Marx and Mussolini (while he was working as a communist early in his career) were both affiliated with publications named Forward! as their primary mouthpieces (Vorwarts!, Avanti!), Hillary's motto is a central term from the later incarnation of Leftist evolution - Fascism.
