It was originally a magazine, a competitor/imitator of MAD Magazine. It was a very funny mag! Sylvester P Smythe was their Alfred E Neuman. The website was good too at first but tanked with the politics... ...

I cannot think of any mainstream comedic entity that is not all in for the Left except South Park (which I do not watch, any more than I watch or read any of the others).
All the others seem to be unequal opportunity players: Destroy conservatives, exalt communists.
