Hillary Clinton turns to ESPN's site to taunt Donald Trump in debate-day ad

In a piece of cheeky psychological warfare leading up to Monday night's first presidential debate at Hofstra University in New York, Hillary Clinton has turned to what may seem like a surprising place: ESPN.com.

The Democratic nominee's campaign pokes Republican rival Donald Trump in a new banner advertisement running Monday on the sports site that reads, "Trump: He's like that guy in your fantasy league who talks trash all week and forgets to set his lineup," highlighted in yellow. The background features two unflattering images of Trump, each appearing to yell at the other one.

The gambit appears to be an attempt to reach the kind of male voters with whom polls show Trump has a big advantage. The fraternity-toned ad is meant to draw media attention and tweak Trump with this important voting bloc. Trump has bragged about his sports prowess and connections, including his endorsements from the likes of former Indiana University basketball coach Bobby Knight, former Notre Dame football coach Lou Holtz, and boxing promoter Don King.

It’s cheeky only in the sense of her massive butt.

And it won’t even get a laugh.

I hope she tries telling a joke tonight. Woman wouldn’t understand humor if a pickle jar fell on her head.

Oooh men, you can now relate to Hillary! Just stupid and if you really think about it condescending.

Like she is into fantasy football all of the sudden.

Hillary: She’s like your 70 year old grandma in your fantasy league.

And she thought she would scoop up Bern’s young adults with her peach-faced Mook and millennials by appearing on Between Two Ferns.
But so far, snake-eyes for her Heinous and the day ain’t over yet.

Sort of ironic that the ad itself is empty trash talk. Are ESPN viewers too stupid to notice that? Hillary must think so.

“Hillary: She’s like your 70 year old grandma in your fantasy league.”

But not the cover of the SI Swimsuit Edition!

ESPN has been a functioning part of the bread and circuses left for a long time.

Boycott ‘em.

I don’t think Hillary or anyone on her campaign know what fantasy football is, probably think it’s something perverted.

FRANKFURT SCHOOL and US “JOURNALISM”
I believe the expression that best characterizes the relationship between the media and the Clintons is the old one from the 50s: FELLOW TRAVELLERS! You younger folks will need to look it up as I doubt your teachers brought it to your attention.

Years ago, Dr. Gary North predicted that the radical left would capture America with the insane and human nature denying goal of “transforming” it into an egalitarian unicorn and rainbow Utopia by “capturing the ROBES”. By that, he meant those institutions we granted various levels of authority over us and our affairs: The clergy, the judges... and the ACADEMICS.

The roots of the problems in academia flow back to something referred to as the Frankfurt School and their 1935 move to COLUMBIA UNIVERSITY and the spread of Marxist thought (now there’s an oxymoron for ya’!) into every area of learning here.

A prime example of the rot now endemic in the academy is the COLUMBIA SCHOOL OF “JOURNALISM”. It is THE premier center for spreading Marxism here in America and it has been incredibly successful in its destruction of traditional and American values. Not only do its direct graduates permeate the media here, but many of them also double as teachers in lesser known institutions of media instruction. Herein lies the genesis of Limbaugh’s descriptive expression “Driveby Media”. Now you know why virtually every so-called “journalist” HATES folks like us.

The Wikipedia entry says that the “...FRANKFURT SCHOOL was founded in 1923 by Carl Grünberg, a Marxist legal and political professor at the University of Vienna,[10] as an adjunct of the University of Frankfurt; it was the first Marxist-oriented research center affiliated with a major German university.[3] However, the school can trace its earliest roots back to Felix Weil, who used money from his father’s grain business to finance the Institute. “

Isn’t it fascinating that here is an early instance of a Marxist ANTI-CAPITALIST organization financing itself with the hated PROFITS of a capitalist business? The hypocrisy is mind-boggling.

More recent examples of that dichotomy would be the offspring of John D. Rockefeller who have largely spent their lives promoting socialism (using other people’s money, of course). And recently Bill Gates treated us to the wisdom that only SOCIALISM can solve the woes of this world. What these folks refuse to acknowledge that even THEY do not possess sufficient personal wealth to make a dent in those woes if the recipients of that largess are incapable of sustaining themselves once the largess stops flowing or is exhausted.

If one examines the life of Karl Marx, we find a bum who abandoned his wife and family to advance the socialist struggle and never worked or dirtied his hands at day in his life. That sort of thing was for the bourgeoisie, not such an exalted personage as himself. His guilt over that abandonment probably explains Karl’s fondness for state welfare paid for by the labor of others so that his abandoned family wouldn’t perish (not that a mensch like Karl gave a rat’s ass).
