My Response From My Congresscritter
Me | 9/22/2016 | Rfreedom4u

Posted on 09/22/2016 2:03:48 PM PDT by rfreedom4u

Dear Mr. (my name),

Thank you for contacting me about FBI Director James Comey. I appreciate the opportunity to hear your thoughts.

Like most of America, I was disgusted by the fact that former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will face no charges for her reckless handling of highly sensitive classified information. As a result of her actions, the FBI could not confirm whether any of the sensitive US classified information was hacked by China, Russia, Iran, North Korea or another outside organization. This information confirms that at a minimum, she cannot be trusted with highly sensitive information. While the FBI investigation is now closed and Clinton faces no criminal charges, Congress can act.

Director Comey testified on July 7th in the Oversight and Government Reform about the investigation into former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s exclusive use of her personal email account during her tenure at the State Department. The Chairman of this committee, Jason Chaffetz, asked Comey to speak at a classified briefing about the investigation earlier this month which Director Comey denied. Whether or not to issue a subpoena for Director Comey is at the discretion of Chairman Chaffetz.

You may be interested in House Homeland Security Committee Chairman Michael McCaul and I introduced HR 5697, the Taking Responsibility Using Secured Technologies (TRUST) Act of 2016. It would revoke Hillary Clinton’s security clearance as well as the security clearances of her colleagues at the State Department who also exhibited extreme carelessness in their handling of classified information. Additionally, the TRUST Act expresses the sense of Congress that Secretary Clinton should not have access to classified information again until she earns the legal right to such access.

The American people deserve better from the government they place their trust in. I will continue every effort to hold this administration accountable. Very Respectfully,

Pete Olson Member of Congress

I’ve stopped emailing my congress persons. I use to write faithfully. Maybe they will get the message if we don’t write them.

Writing them is a waste of time. You get a word-salad response signifying nothing but Kabuki representation.

I will continue every effort to hold this administration accountable.

Empty words are the stock and trade of the sleaze bags on Capitol Hill. They usually manage to fool most of the people most of the time. We have to change that and hold them accountable. You did your part.

Congress? Accountable. What a joke.

They should be brought before grand juries
for arming al Qaeda after 911
and bringing diseases, cured diseases, new diseases,
and terrorists in while keeping THEMSELVES EXEMPT.

Write them, don't write them, it makes no difference...99% are completely corrupt.

We could vote them out, but we don’t even do that. Same old cronies in there term after term. The sheeple tend to like their congressman and blame the others. Until that changes, nothing will change.

People deserve the government they vote for.

HAHAHAHA - we all know they will get rank advancements, pay raises and award banquets honoring them for their service! Does anyone remember Lois Lerner?

Lying is the skill that gets them in office, and keeps them in office. And the sheeple are lazy and naive. Its a wicked combination that makes for unresponsive and corrupt government.

Yes, when there are hearings, it means that Congress members can talk tough on TV, knowing full well that nothing will happen after they go home. If there was any desire for accountability, Bill & Hillary would be in jail instead of planning their return to the White House. Their failure to lead is a major reason she could win.

Winner! We have a winner. Brevity is the soul of wit. This was brief, but nailed it very clearly.

Did you ask Pete why he didn’t sign onto the list of Congressmen who oppose transferring the Internet? He is such a jerk. Wish Randy Weber would have run against him. Makes me want to move to Galveston so my rep would be Randy instead of Pete.

That looks good on paper but it won't get anywhere.

Hillary is out of the federal system so Congress cannot impeach and remove her from office.

However, can’t Congress bring charges based on Hillary's alleged breaking of the law that Bill Whittle mentions in the video below, the law taking Hillary out of the race if convicted?

Bill Whittle: The Criminal Arrogance of Hillary Clinton

In fact, although corrupt Congress could probably easily find a way to stall such a trial, I’ll bet that Congress could have tried and convicted Hillary on breaking the law as fast as Congress rammed Obamacare through the system.

After all, Hillary has the 6th Amendment-protected right to a speedy trial.

Remember in November !

Patriots need to support Trump / Pence by also electing a new, state sovereignty-respecting Congress that will not only work within its constitutional Article I, Section 8-limited powers to support Trump’s vision for making America great again for everybody, but will also put a stop to unconstitutonal federal taxes and likewise unconstitutional inteference in state affairs.

Note that such a Congress will also probably be willing to fire state sovereignty-ignoring activist justices.

My congressman, Tim Huelskamp, was one of the good ones you could email and he would listen. He was one of the very few Constitutional conservatives that actually fought the establishment, including his fights with Boehner. You can't ask for too much more in a congressman that is willing to take on his own and the whole DC establishment.

It's too bad he was deceived by Ted Cruz but that happened to a lot of people who failed to see the opportunist he was instead of the solid conservative he acted like for the masses. Between that, the local medias that went after Huelskamp, and the DC establishment, including Boehner, who spent a ton of money to defeat Huelskamp in the primaries, the bad guys were able to take out one of the good guys in congress.

It's too bad my fellow Kansans didn't see through that BS but it is what it is. My guess since the DC establishment will not be able to defeat Trump, they will try to get as many elected, whether it's dem or repub, to try to block a Trump agenda. That's why I cannot vote for the primary winner Marshall, he already demonstrated to have DC establishment written all over him, taking in their money to defeat one of the good guys.

He is a eunuch. He used the term, “reckless”. He doesn’t get it and even if he did, is likely one of the blackmailed ranks.

Congress didn't ask. No reason to bring all that slanderous stuff up, we need to all get along, besides that stuff messes with the cash flow.
