AMEN

Newt may be intellectually smart, but publicly he can be an idiot!
He killed off all the good work he fostered with his Contract with America, aimed at keeping Clinton in check.
However, he became a controversy lightning rod with glib crazy talk about establishing nationwide orphanages to take kids from bad homes, and high brow geopolitical ideas that critics had a field day with.
The issue of the US re-arming Ukraine with nuclear weapons is politically radioactive!
Sh1t like that makes Putin and world critics very nervous and make Trump look like a potential war monger.

Newt, go away and don’t speak in public til After the election!

RE: “This is EXACTLY WHY I wouldn’t back Newt to be on Trump’s ticket.

He hasn’t got a lick of sense.

Whether true or not, you don’t telegraph something like this.

It makes you wonder whose side Newt is really on.

One to five of these types of comments, and you can doom a candidacy.

Trump should refute the claim and jettison this moron.”

This is elementary simple, which is why the tards currently in charge refuse to do it.

We make money, Ukraine is safe against future Russian incursion, Putin consolidates the legitimate annexation of Crimea, tensions fade and everything gets back to normal

A win for everyone.

"We entered into an agreement"

I'm sure that authority is found in the part of the US Constitution covering the president's "deal making" powers. /sarc

Without a treaty and Senate approval, the Budapest Memorandum means nothing.

"It’s not helpful to winning the election for Newt to be doing this."

Why not? It would get the Ukrainians to vote for Trump.

Right now the Ukie papers are trashing Trump and worshiping Hillary or Kasich.

Selling weapons to Ukraine will only ensure that millions die instead of thousands.

True. One party state fascist Russia has been threatening nuclear war while murdering thousands of their neighbors. I’m sure a mass murderer like Putin would love to nuke them. You keep good company, FRiend.

This is a US election, the Ukranians don’t get to vote.

Horrendous translation - would be interested in what Newt actually said.

In Google Chrome right click and select Translate to English after opening the link. It’s the full interview:

Yes, we need to help George Soros and the globalists finish their job in Ukraine

I’ll trust Trump on this one. You can have KGB Vlad. Deal?

Wasn`t Newt the one who was lecturing Trump a few months back about choosing his words more wisely?

Even with a treaty our word means nothing.

That is what comes of weakness and Obamaism.

We turned our back on Ukraine like we have so many others we have had agreements with.

Putin is a bully. A small show of strength and resolve and he would back down.

But but but
I thought DJT and Putin were BFF

LOL. You have to give Trump credit. He has played the checkers playing isolationists like a fiddle with his campaign season hot air. Putinist Russia is not a friend of the United States. Never was. Never will be. Trump isn’t an idiot. He knows that.

I can see Trump understanding Ukraine’s problems. We need a wall to keep out Mexicans. They need a wall to keep fascist Russians out. A lot of similiarities between the US and Ukraine historically.

The President is Commander in Chief and has broad latitude in both international affairs and military operations.

I don’t think Putin’s going to stand by and let anyone control the Donbass area.....it’s his buffer zone and he’ll keep that area a conflict zone to protect any thoughts of another invasion into Russia, they remember being infiltrated directly through Ukraine by Hilter’s army.... so he’s going to keep Donbass in his loop even if it means conflict there...it will never be handed over to Ukraine.

And lets not forget the Donetsk Basin area is full of natural minerals and was the industrial area of Ukraine...which is why Poroshenko wants it so bad. Uranium, coal, steel etc, etc.

Looks like Kiev still wants control of the area even though Donbass has been trying for autonomy since the 90’s.

Crimea is another story...I don’t think that will leave Russia’s control either....though I do think in time there will be some trade agreements etc. made as they were before.

Nop. Trump said “Wouldn’t it be nice to have great relations with Russia.” Too bad the KGB filth running Russia doesn’t want good relations with the United States. Trump knows that. The sooner checkers playing FReepers understand that the better.

LOL, the russkies on here are astounded that someone might support a country’s fight for freedom against the neo-stalinist Russians.

This is why Gingrich is not fit to be President and why he cannot hold a principal cabinet position or other position of trust. He has a lot of creative ideas, but he can display an appalling lack of judgment at times.

Like we want to start WWIII over the Ukraine.

Crimea has been controlled by Russia since the time of Catherine the Great. It provides warm water ports. Russia will give up the Crimea when we give up New Orleans.
