I’ve been to Europe many times, so I get your point. On the other hand I lived in the D.C. area for over 60 years, and I recall a number of marches and demonstrations on Washington that reportedly were comprised of upwards of a million people, although I’ve always doubted the accuracy of those estimates. Still, some of those crowds WERE enormous.

You now see regularly 25,000-50,000 at all Trump rallies. those are the protesters!
