I would think the attitude of the coach would be: you are representing this country and that means you honor the flag. If not, well get some one else.
If the coach doesn’t think so - get a new coach.

I think many people are afraid of being seen as “too judgmental” on this national anthem issue...
They don’t want to be seen as “intolerant”...They are afraid of being called “too nationalistic”...
I am glad that US Soccer let public know that it did not approve of Megan’s actions...However, US Soccer Federation will not do anything else. It is too afraid to punish her...
Megan should thank God that she is playing for the US national team, not North Korean national team...
Only in US, she would suffer no consequences for her stupid actions...What if some North Korean player refused to stand up for the North Korean national anthem? She will be kicked out of the North Korean team and she would no longer be allowed to play soccer...
