Republicans were doing a great job eating into their voting registration deficit over the past year. In August, however, the Democrats were finally able to staunch some of the bleeding.

On August 1st, statistics showed 4,074,858 Democrats and 3,159,815 Republicans. An additional 1,106,024 voters brought the grand total to 8,340,697.

Again easy to pick a party in PA. You are basically telegraphing your vote when you choose party in so far as it concerns the new registrations. Not the lifelong voters - they probably forgot what they registered as or don't care. Lots of UAF and pretty good for the GOP for the past week. Worse for the Dems this past week. Don't anticipate too many UAF voting Hillary.

The City of Philadelphia itself accounts for around 1/4 of those Democrats.

A lot of people here in Western PA are registered Democrat because often the only choice you get in local elections is in the Democrat Primary. But often times they vote more conservatively in national elections.

That's the way I see FR. As a former college teacher (conservative school too) I actually learned that some students DO ask stupid questions!

In state wide elections, Philadelphia county ALWAYS produces at least a 650,000 democrat tally to only 100,000 republican.

That automatically gives the rat candidate a 550,000 vote lead.

It is difficult to overcome but not impossible.

A big GOP turnout and a low rat fraud vote is key to winning PA.

This morning I posted this on another thread about PA voting (http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3469523/posts):

“Pittsburgh and the smaller cities in the west have been trending Republican for some time. Voter-registration changes since 2012 indicate that Republicans stand to make substantial gains here, continuing a multi-decade trend. ... In the last four years, metro Pittsburgh, Erie, Altoona, and Johnstown have seen a six-figure drop in the Democratic registration edge that has overrun all of the Democratic gains in much larger Philadelphia.”
