so, I know this is risky....but....at the human level, I actually feel a little bit sorry for weiner.
he’s clearly a hetero male, and he’s a dad. but he got “married” to a jihadist dike, and has to take orders from the clintons. yes, he screwed up, and he traded it all for the chimera of political relevance.
so he’s pathetic, and stupid, and made rather poor choices in life.
but he is a dad, and he’s unemployable....and i feel a little bit sorry for him.

Did you see the movie “Weiner.” If not, I recommend it.
He isn’t 100% bad. He has some personal insight, some charisma. But, his flaws seem irredeemable, and he’s the kind of person who should never, ever be in a position of public power. It feeds his ego too much.
I can see why Huma picked him, if you buy into Muslim Brotherhood conspiracy theories, which I do. He was an up and coming Congressman who would have been manipulable. Huma took one for her team, even marrying an (ugh, from her point of view) Jew. On his side... I don’t know.
In “Weiner”, she doesn’t come off all that badly either, I might add. Bemused at first, then disgusted. The last episode was just too much. You know the saying, “The third time is the charm.”

Politics is really a sickening thing. It turns people who have some decent qualities into thugs, charlatans, and egomaniacs. It’s very said.
And you are right...he does seem to have a little charisma...I bet he’s probably pretty funny in the right context. You could see working alongside this guy in a work force where he is in sales or something. And he does have a level of fitness, and that is admirable. So you’re right: he’s got some reasonably good, human qualities.
I will try to watch that, though. It sounds like an engaging documentary.
That child would have certainly have been taken from an average citizen if the citizen acted like Wiener did.
IMO it would be difficult to find two uglier people!!! I’m talking about the ones pictured here - not the two the story is about..
I’d feel sorry for him, only if he came clean about Huma and her connections to the Muslim Brotherhood.
As horrible as he is, I’ll bet she’s even worse. A totally absent parent running around the country with Hil. Obvious where her priorities are.
