Just when Hillary Clinton was stepping up her complaints about media bias, it turns out her bigger problem is media aversion.
The way in which the Democratic nominee and her team utterly botched the belated disclosure of her pneumonia took a modest problem and made it a thousand times worse. It reinforced the image of excessive secrecy and calculated non-disclosure that has dogged Clinton throughout this campaign. It made a mockery of the campaign’s criticism of conservative critics who were speculating that she was really sick.
And it was all totally unnecessary.
I can’t say it any better than former Obama aide David Axelrod, who tweeted: “Antibiotics can take care of pneumonia. What's the cure for an unhealthy penchant for privacy that repeatedly creates unnecessary problems?”
Imagine an alternative universe in which Clinton had told the public she was under the weather when she had the series of coughing fits—rather than blaming it on seasonal allergies—and announced Friday that she’d just been diagnosed with pneumonia. Not an ideal situation two months before the election, but she could have taken a few days off the trail and the public would have been sympathetic

Why not say she and her campaign staff CLAIM such and such.

If she had really be diagnosed with pneumonia on Friday, they would have said THAT when she passed on 9-11, not blamed overheating, then said pneumonia.

Dutiful little lapdogs are so willing to take the word of a proven liar as long as they don’t have to do any journalism. What is there to lead anyone to believe that her condition has anything to do with pneumonia other than a statement from her camp? 5 days ago everyone who questioned her condition was a conspiracy nut. They rolled the dice, and a video popped up. This faux has to discount any questions about “unauthorized causes” and question Trump’s health to make it Murdock Balanced.

She knows no medical doctor has a cure for demonic possession.
And she doesn’t want the only Real cure.
"Pneumonia", or whatever made her pass out, is not a modest problem; it's a huge problem at her age. Still, I'll agree that the deceptions made it even worse politically. I say "deceptions" rather than "lies" because I believe she was overheated. Due to whatever causes, including but not limited to pneumonia, she probably had a fever of 105 degrees F by the time she collapsed, and it's not quite a lie to call that "overheated"!
Yeah, but she’s going to release “some more” of her medical records. Just like she released “some more” of her emails.
That makes sense.
