Cite me a case where that did, in fact, happen.

Barring any documented case, your post is nothing but wild speculation.

If someone offered to pay the fine, I don’t see why he didn’t go ahead with his plans to wear them.

Because then the story is all about HIM -- which defeats the purpose of it.

This is why Kaepernick is losing support even among people who agree with him. He was supposed to be "protesting" something, but the subject of his protest has gotten ZERO exposure since he started his childish tantrum.

When the NFL signs an endorsement deal with a sock company, then we'll see how they police what players wear during practice.

Also, please note that players can wear whatever headphones they please -- except during TV interviews.

The outraged ones are here on FR. They bitch and moan about it, but still tune in e very Sunday (all day long) and Monday night, wear NFL jerseys, put NFL bumper stickers on their cars and work desk, host NFL parties, purchase products and services from NFL slonsora, and thus cumulatively to e the NFL billions of dollars every year without even realizing it.

Bunch of punks and lazy fools.

It’s easy and painless to bich, moan, blog and claim outrage, but much different to put your (their) money where there mouth is.

But the NFL did reach across into practice sessions. The NFL can modulate based on behavior on and off the field, as evidenced by egregious behavior of some of the team thugs. Smartly, the NFL does not want to engage this charged incident.
