Not only are Americans listening to Donald Trump's plans for a border wall, but so are other nations.
The United Kingdom is moving forward with plans to build a 1 kilometer wall protecting an underwater entry point from France to Britain, according to reports on Wednesday.
Officials said their goal is to stop migrants from using a tunnel in Calais, France from crossing the English Channel.
“We are going to start building this big new wall very soon. We’ve done the fence; now we are doing a wall,” UK Home Office minister Robert Goodwill said.
Most of the port is already fenced off from a camp the “jungle.” But British officials say a wall is needed in other areas of the route.
Seems to me I remember folks opposing the tunnel in the first place based on invasion.
Why are the LEOs climbing the wall, do they not have a car battery - it would give a whole new meaning to jumper cables.

Back in the early 1800s, mobs rioted outside of the company that was the first to seriously pursue it. I think people inside had to flee for their lives.
In a non-Muslim migrant world, the Chunnel has been a great thing, but it is very much still a route for “land invasion” as was feared.
And France will pay for it.
The British are now awake to the fact that this is a war.
U.K. Needs to export- repatriate its large enemy within first - then build its wall. Sealing the enemy Inside your home isn’t a success strategy.

There was much to be gained, but I feared governments more than anything, knowing European history.
This out of control immigration free for all wasn’t on my radar.
This beats anything I’ve ever seen, and it causes me to wonder why governments haven’t stopped this.
The Chunnel also needs very fast opening gates that open toward the interior of France, mounted with concertina wire and stakes, kind of like an iron maiden, slathered in pig fat and entrails. That SHOULD keep the muhamedans from trying to cross the Chunnel. Perhaps station several armed towers by the gates, perhaps with water cannon spewing pig blood and offal.
If I were the British PM, I would give the order to plant an explosive charge blocking the tunnel until further notice.
England already has a wall on (well, near) its northern border, left behind by the Romans, but it needs some refurbishing.
I’d put troops there and demand they head home.

While I understand why you said that, I refuse to allow these cultists to change our society.
If we want to close the tunnel sometime after a discussion of it’s benefits vs threats, then it should be of our own doing, and not because it was dictated by the actions of cultists.
I see this as an invasion. This is an occupation of Western Europe and Britain.

The British military has every right to use all means necessary as far as I am concerned.
