Oh, good grief. If oreos went down, our gooses would be cooked for sure!
Talk about withdrawals! LOL!
We’d be in some seeeeeerious trouble!
No kidding! Although, I might be able to drown my sorrows with some Mexican wedding cookies from the grocery store bakery. They are SO good! And nearly as addictive as oreos! Nearly.
Pepperidge Farms Milano cookies would tide me through. Those are awesome. They go into my hidey hole when I buy them so Hubby won’t eat them all in one sitting. There are only 15 in a package. Fortunately, he’s never found the hidey hole.
Enjoyed my day off, although I still had some editing work. Tuesday is back to the real world. Blech.
Thank goodness he hasn’t found it! I’ll bet there’s choklit in there, too! :) I don’t think I’ve ever tried those. I’ve seen them, but then I see the oreos. You know how that goes!
Sorry I was gone for so long. Had a couple of shows that needed watching. :)
I second that....Blech!! Back to the grind in the morning.
LOL! I was gone longer than you. Watched a very good 9/11 documentary that ended just a few minutes ago.
I stick different things in the hidey hole, depending on what I’ve bought that I want to be able to eat. Sometimes I get two of something and hide one, allowing Hubby to eat the other. Gotta be nice sometimes. LOL
You should give the milanos a try sometime. They’re deeeeeeeelicicious. There are a few varieties and the milk chocolate is the one I prefer.
I have a few 9-11 videos that I feel compelled to watch every year. This is one of them. I can't NOT watch.
They have dark choklit that are ok and choklit and orange that are pretty good. But the milk choklit are what I get most often. Divine! LOL!
I have LOTS of videos I recorded starting the moment Hubby woke me up to tell me what had happened. I’d gone to sleep later than usual that morning and had only been asleep a couple of hours. I stumbled out here to see the 2nd tower collapse and freaked. I put a blank tape in the VCR, hit record, and that poor VCR didn’t stop running for weeks.
And now I don’t have a working VCR so can’t watch any of those, which I did every year on 9/11.
I knew History Channel was going to show some of their stuff next Sunday but didn’t know about tonight. Just lucked onto it while channel surfing and off went the computer.
The video you linked is one I’ve watched many times and cried every time. Such a horrible day.
A little late, but I hope you enjoyed your labor day without laboring.
radu.....#100!!
