Which is why if I were President I would have the border patrol at the border with a “Kill at sight” order..they see a smuggler coming in, one bullet should be all it takes..once Trump takes over, he will make sure that these illegals NEVER get Govt goodies, that is why they come here, for the freebies, cut off the goodies and they wont come here
I heard in his immigration speech when he specifically called for the wall to have anti-tunneling sensors. But I doubt this tool listened to the immigration speech.
The tunnels are used for smuggling drugs into the country - not illegals. The tunnels are too valuable to risk discovery for them to use it for that.

A big difference between sneaking a few pounds of drugs through a tunnel vs. hundreds of thousands of illegals per year. Even with tunnels the wall is not moot.

These are the reason we need a wall at the border.
Smugglers use the tunnels, and the tunnels survive because our border patrol is endlessly trying to nab people simply strolling across the border.
Have an actual border. Then our agents could focus on preventing the smugglers, who are the real problem.
