Well, I warned you that EVERY candidate was gonna be a downgrade from Vitter and there would be a high chance for a marked downgrade, as Kennedy or Boustany would be. I wanted Vitter to run again.

I would vote for Fleming, but it doesn’t look good.

I figured Duke to be at around 1 or 2%, disgusting to see at 6% and ahead of Maness. He’s on the DNC payroll and the media is deliberately giving him free coverage to try and tie him to Trump and the GOP. One a-hole was asking someone gotcha questions “Would you support a democrat over David Duke”. Irrelevant since Duke has a zero% chance of making the runoff, but for the record I would not vote for either him or any democrat candidate.

I doubt very much that the racist hillbillies who are Duke voters would otherwise vote for one of the conservative Republican candidates. His type are the scum who put Kathleen Blanco over the top in 2003.

I think Duke would get only 1% in an actual REPUBLICAN primary. But this stupid jungle “primary” lets him put whatever letter next to his name he wants and get votes from anyone.

Maness does. Man of integrity. He said he’ll support whomever the candidate will be. As he has done in the last election by supporting Cassidy, which I held my nose to.

From Bayou Buzz June 15, 2016:

“When asked about if those statements made by Donald Trump, the Republican presidential candidate that have been supportive of Planned Parenthood, would make it difficult for Republicans to fulfill their pledges, Maness said the GOP nominal leader has been all over the map on this issue that Trump was not “my first, second, third or fourth choice” but that the presumptive presidential nominee has pledged to follow the party platform and it will be his (Maness’s) job, as US Senator to ensure that Trump follows through.”

First, when the evil of PP became apparent, Trump basically let them go. Why would Trump’s campaign be boiled down exclusively to support of PP? Why would Manass not like Trump’s stand on immigration. This thing about Trump being “all over the map” is laughable; it is the media who claims Trump is all over the map.

Manass is buying the MSM line on Trump. Which candidates did Manass prefer instead of Trump, which four choices did he prefer to Trump? After one or two and they all start dropping off as pro-amnesty.

For me, he has no political instincts to relegate Trump to fifth choice.
