:”Democrats believe in a large federal government, and often implement tax plans to try to help the less privileged. Democrats tend to believe the government must look for the greater good above the individual person in terms of welfare and do what is necessary to make the populace more “equal”. Democrats assert that the values our country holds must evolve over time, and, therefore, tend to support issues such as Pro Choice and gay marriage.

Today’s Democrats are working hard to advance issues like immigration reform, education reform, health care reform, and alternative energy. “

And the rule of existing law does not matter to them one whit.

The Role of Government? It’s right there in the Preamble to our plan of government, our Constitution!

We the People of the United States, in Order to:

1.) Form a more perfect Union
2.) Establish Justice
3.) Insure domestic Tranquility
4.) Provide for the common defense
5.) Promote the general Welfare
6.) Secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity . . .

Do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.

Of course, the Democrats reinterpret “promote the general welfare” as “promote the welfare state”.
