Baltimore Residents Beg Police To Protect Their Neighborhoods (what do they have to lose?)

As Justice Department civil rights lawyers held a meeting to talk about overhauling the Baltimore police department, another group of Baltimore residents gathered to beg the police to fix the crime in their neighborhoods.

The meetings show a disconnect between those who are concerned about crime and those worried about police reform, reports the Washington Post. Neither group was aware the other one was meeting.

I'm betting that rampant crime is in Baltimore and in Chicago and in at least two dozen other cities if not more. What do the people have to lose by voting Trump in these hell holes. Looks like the volcano is erupting and black people all over the country are scared and fed up.

Cops catches criminal

Prosecutor files charges

Defense Attorney threatens extended trial unless PA plays ball .

Judge agrees to plea bargain that allows criminal back onto the the street.

PA clears a case among hundreds more on his/her desk

Defense attorney has client for life.

Judge can now say he/she administered justice(often social justice)

Victim loses faith in system

Cops wonders WTF is going on and prepares to catch another criminal

NO MORE leniency, no more sliding scales, no more double secret probation, no more multiple Suspended Imposition of Sentence, put the violent ones in prison until they are too old to walk. The crime rate WILL go down.

The crime rate has been going steadily down as two other rates have risen i.e. incarceration and gun ownership. The left decries the high rates of imprisonment because crime rates have declined and say that decline justifies putting fewer miscreants in prison. Actually the left fears a diminution in crime rates because that reduces the ostensible justification for leftism.

When Baltimore residents rioted against the police for doing their job, I remember the rabble-rousers saying they would police their own neighborhoods. I don't recall ANY residents except for that one mother dragging her teenage son away from the riots doing ANYTHING to stop the rioting or to defend the police.

What's my point? I don't know much about the Bible all those folks are so fond of, but doesn't it say something about reaping and sowing?
