The IRS is still holding up three tea party groups’ applications, Commissioner John Koskinen admitted in a letter to Congress last week — but he insisted he agents are finally about to begin processing them.
Mr. Koskinen is hoping to head off yet another judicial spanking for his agency, which has suffered a string of defeats in federal courts that ruled he is still improperly targeting conservative groups and mistreating them more than three years after the tax agency admitted to its bad behavior.
Not only are three groups still awaiting approval, but the IRS had left open the possibility of kick-starting the use of its targeting, or “be on lookout” (BOLO), lists that the agency used to figure out who it was subjecting to intrusive scrutiny.
Now, Mr. Koskinen is finally moving to shut the operation down for good.
“There should be no doubt that the use of BOLO lists has not just been temporarily suspended, it has been eliminated,” he said in letters to key committees on Capitol Hill.
He also said that the three applications that have been delayed — among them the Albuquerque Tea Party and the Texas Patriots Tea Party — will finally be processed.

Maybe the know the election is fixed for Hillary and there will be no worries about the Tea Party in the future. Mass importation of new welfare recipients and life long democrat voters will render the Tea Party useless.
I suspect it's also because the IRS ran very low on their collections this year due to The One's great economy and because pissed off Americans made a concerted effort not to give a corrupt one penny more than they were due. People are really fed up of this NWO bull$hit. I'm surprised axes haven't been planted in a few skulls as they slept.

That was the problem.... Going and asking permission to become a 501(c)(3). You are then beholden to the code, and the power behind it. I know of 2 very smart Tea Parties that never went for it, and just pass the hat and get along just fine...
How about the court orders “shall issue” and orders the government to pay all legal fees involved in these shenanigans. Yeah, I hate enriching lawyers at taxpayer expense, but that battle was lost long long long long long long long ago.

How about making those career bureaucrats who did target conservatives accountable? How many were demoted/convicted/reprimanded?
