Lifelike baby dolls designed to deter teenage girls from having children actually raise pregnancy rates, a major study suggests. The teenage pregnancy prevention programme, which is used in schools around the world, does not seem to work, according to the first proper trial to test it. Girls who took part were more, not less, likely to become pregnant compared to those who did not take part.

Next up: Use of full-size blow-up dolls?
Probably not good on our part to assume it is unintended.
If its a liberal idea, they never broadcast their real goals to the dupes they are attempting to control.
If they’re too lifelike, they trigger the maternal response just based on the appearance. “Baby” simulators need to be a completely non-human device that requires regular attention/maintenance, must be manipulated frequently, is sensitive to mishandling, and sometimes will sound an alarm that must be attended to simply so it won’t become even more annoying, even though the alarm cannot immediately be shut off.
The “cute” appearance and the biological effects it has are solely for the purpose of making sure the parents don’t kill their offspring before they can become self-sufficient. That appearance, and positive behavior exhibited by babies, trigger reward centers deep in the brain; granted, when not actively counteracting the aggravation that a helpless infant can impose, they are a good reminder of why parents put up with it.
It takes a village.
They must be inserting it incorrectly.
give the boys lifelike blow up women dolls and that should solve the problem...
Are school which use these already having a high pregnancy rate, thus even if they work they won't bring the rate down to the level of schools which don't use tgem.?
Learned an hour ago my nephew (in-law here in Berlin) is going to be named Samuel. :)
Read a story where there were full action baby dolls that moved and cried at random times day or night. You had to ‘fake’ feed them, change diapers etc. They also had to carry them around pretty much all day. If that wasn’t a deterrent then ...
How about if they make the smell like baby poop and throwup?
Baby barf doesn’t really smell much, nor does their poop until they start solid food. In any case, you get dulled to that far more quickly than you do to the late nights, bouts of colic, attention requirements, and general logistical hassle of managing a totally helpless nonverbal human.
Oh man, so you haven’t experienced projectile vomit baby barf curd? And when the kiddo gets prunes for lunch.
Gotta keep the birthdate of those native Brits down. Don’t they know their supposed to lose this Ethnic war Leftists have thrust upon us?
Are you thinking of “The Education of Tigress McCardle” by C. M. Kornbluth? Very funny story.
Somehow, this is kinda reassuring...
Nope. My kid rarely spit up really violently, and ate fairly mild food at first, mostly rice, lentils, along with very tiny amounts of mashed chicken and fish (raised hindu and breastfed until past 2yrs). She didn’t get more...colorful food until she was past the spitup stage. When she did really throw up, it was usually pretty inoffensive, even if the mess was widespread.
